| Oh man, this episode was great. It was absurd in all of the right ways. So many amusing scenes. This was exceptionally well animated too. It wasn't even just the fight scenes; there was a lot of sakuga character acting too. Whoever directed this episode did a great job. Edit: It was Rie Matsumoto, as the above user stated. This is my first encounter with something she's directed; I'll have to try to remember that name. |

| First of all, damn, this episode looked amazing! The animation was outstanding from start to end and the use of cartoony elements was nicely executed. We got focus on the parents of Momo and Buki, seeing them so passionate about what they love at their age makes me so happy, there is always so much to do! So happy that Love came to be less weirded out for the dedication her dad has to wig and more of happiness for him loving what he does so much. Wester really ended as a fool this episode, his plan with the wigs wasn't a bad one but it backfired so, so hard by people finding them funny instead of being sad, seeing Setsuna and Soular mocking him was gold. |

| That was actually a funny episode. The wig attack completely backfired as it transformed into a glorified funny hat event, but with wigs. I also noticed the animation style was different this time around, feeling like something from Studio Bones or Gainax/Trigger. There was also a noticeable upgrade in terms of animation liveliness, a larger variety of exaggerated facial expressions, and a lot more visual gags. |
| I was wondering who handled directing this time around, it's always a pleasure to watch Rie Matsumoto's work! We really ate good this episode and the animation got me laughing quite a bit. Somehow not surprised Yuki Hayashi and Naotoshi Shida had a hand in this as well, their gags were really fun to watch (especially that part where Berry's falling and the other two freak out trying to catch her 🤣) It was nice seeing an episode dedicated to Love's relationship with her father, since we got one focusing on her relationship with her mother a few episodes ago. Her dad is super relatable imo LOL Also F in the chat for Westar 😔 |
