| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- oh wow, damn i wish i have read the manga before watching this series. Kiku is a genius just like i thought and her strategies is the key of how takane ryuji is actually winning each fight. So i guess the girls are actually the stronger fighters in this series? lol i would of never thought. So kiku is really ryu's trainer, damn. I wonder what she can do if she was out their on the ring. It is quite apparent that she is even more skilled then her little brother. What a turn of events that i did not see coming, also all these flash backs in this episode are from the manga which kind of irritate me. I am definitely going to want to read the manga, after finishing this series so i can get alot more background information on these characters. This guy shaft seems like a very dangerous competent, and that other guy that keeps watching their fights from above with his gang. i guess we won't see any of these characters fight in this season, they are simply their to observe the tournament i guess. The last two episodes im sure is just the final round. Well i look forward to the last bout i guess, but i hate watching an anime, i know very little about cause the premise of the show is by no means the beginning of this story. |

| @link9us Yes, Kiku inherited her father's talent in boxing strategy but the way she trained / crafted Ryûji's body makes him (I think) physically stronger. Note: you can find some of this in St Seiya too, where the hero's trainer is a higher graded woman and the heroes leader a young girl (who is theoretically vastly stronger than the boys themselves) This episode had a good buildup of the tension before the 2eps finale, this show being only a half-length series. 5/5 |
