I'm kind of disappointed there wasn't more to the Knight Saber's past. Personally, I wouldn't have minded an entire episode based around the former members. What we got was pretty "meh" to me. I noticed though, that a few storylines from the original Bubblegum Crisis have been adapted, such as the A.D. Police headquarters being over run with Boomers. This was actually one of my favorite original BG Crisis episodes, so let's see how it does here

After ep 10 and a bunch of world building slice of life pace, we get a big, long movie. This series is fricking great. Can't wait to see where this goes. 26 eps, whereas this big a plot hanger would usually be saved for way later in the series. Very exciting.

Lots of Evangelion and Akira influences in this. The first like 1-2 eps are like the original Bubblegum Crisis, and then it just goes off in its own direction.

Galatea is such a cool concept for a character.

I like how the KS backstory was foreshadowed before by literally one line - "current girls"

P.S. Funny how the OP focuses on Sylia just as the song lyrics start talking about clone dolls. Also, Chiaki J. Konaka, the show's primary screenwriter, kinda looks like Dr. Stingray, and makes his own dolls...just like Sylia's father, in a way. Now that's what I call a self-insert.

i'm getting a little confused about the Sylia/Mackey/Galatea subplot but I'm enjoying it anyway.

Not a big fan of drama, vague suspense, surprises, and Magneto jails that don't stop technomancy across the city, but Nene and Galatea are cute. 5.5/10
