Meh, was barely ok. At first I thought the lady abandoned her kid to chase after a floating caramel, but I soon realized that they wouldn't have her do that and this was just a dream. It felt too short, the time we saw her with her baby and the time it showed her being a kid with her family. If it was just like 3 minutes longer then it could have been better.

Relatively complex for a candy ad. It doesn't even really do a "this product makes your life better" shtick; it's more about the woman contemplating her perspective. Acknowledging that kids can be a pain is surprisingly rare, especially in the idealized wish-fulfillment land of commercials.

The dearer you hold a memory the more painful it becomes.

Well that was actually pretty nice for something like that! Didn't really expect to play with so much emotion in such a short time! Really lovely in general I must say.

I guess she now knows the meaning of being a mother now. Good slice of life cm, and beautiful animation BTW.

Bruh, where are the subtitles. I can't understand Japanese. 😢
If only there was a site where you could slap a link to an anime and have someone translate it.
Maybe Reddit? Is there a subreddit for translating short Japanese media?

Simply put, what it does show is that these sweets have been around for generation after generation... the most beautiful thing of all is its soundtrack.
