| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- So what do you think of this first chapter? I thought it was pretty interesting seeing Tonio and Rohan against Abalone. Again a valid bizarre's choice of Araki. Oh right, now we know more of the mysterious Tonio. Also, Araki keeps trolling us, only showing Josuke's back lol |

| This was probably my favorite one, I really got a kick out of the chef character in part 4 and was happy to see more of him. |
| I also like the chef, he's such a great character and now we finally got to understand his motives to coming to Morioh, too. Feels like this could have been included in the parent story. |

| Out of all the chapters in Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan, Poacher's Reef was the most interesting one because it starred Trendy Tonio, a character that I would've loved to see more in Part 4 and he was presented and elaborated on as a character very well here. The good man just wants his lover to live a comfortable and longer life and those heavy-ass abalones almost killed him thanks to the midsummer current. It's a good thing that Rohan has Heaven's Door with him to escape as always. That abalone picking spot being Higashikata turf is surprising. Maybe Josuke's dad bought the place. |
