| in my opinion, it's not going to be very good. i can't even imagine junji's work being adapted correctly - they already showed how bad they can do it with gyo. as much as i think it won't be good, i am excited. i think to do it properly, they'd have to do something like yami shibai animation. |

| Hyped for it, hopefully DEEN can pull off the creepiness of the manga. I wouldn't said it exactly horror but it definitely gonna be the creepiest shit out there. The story tone does get a little scary, really excited to see how DEEN pull off the music and sound. |

Dismissing Ito's artistry as "scribbled crap" is so ignorant and pathetic, thanks for being my weekly reminder that the MAL community is fucking awful. Anyway, I'm hopeful for this project. If Deen effectively utilizes a limited rough animation style with a more reserved and monochromatic color palette fitting with Ito's iconic style this may just be half as good as it is in manga form. Fingers crossed, because we really need not only actual good Ito adaptions, but also good horror anime in general (which there is very little of imo). |

| Only if they do a good job. For now, the best horror anime are still Mononoke and Perfect Blue in my opinion. Yami Shibai s1 is also pretty decent. |

| I don't know if they can actually translate Ito Junji's creepiness into anime. Like how could anyone top his art into an anime form? It'd be too disgusting if it's adapted well, but it'd look choppy if it's adapted badly. I'm excited to see this though. It's not everyday you get a fucked up manga in anime adaptation. Just hope it's good. |

| boy, i've been waiting for fashion model to be animated, and its also related to shuichi stories too. that girl face is one of the most terrifying piece of art that i ever seen that makes me loves Junji Ito's work, lets just hope that it will be good 20-minutes 24 episode madness, cuz im ready |

| @alpha_shadow, @bastek66, Y'all are crazy. The PV looked great. Comparing the animation to Yami Shibai is insulting. Yes, obviously it's more limited but that's the point. Why do you think they took frames out of Ju-on? Because it makes it feel more unnatural. @Mywifesson, It's just a minute long preview, with half of the voice acting being gargled screaming. How can you deduce that it's terrible from that? Given the talented cast on board they're not at all amateurish or untrained. @Tebls, lol at the implication of Another being even remotely scary, let alone the scariest out there. |

| @animeva 5 seconds maybe of gurgling, and even that was bad. The rest of it was just off, the cadence, the vocal inflection, it was dog shit. Clearly these people are out of their element perhaps because they have never gone to any acting classes. |

| I don't know what the hell you're talking about or what you were listening to, but it's clear you have no idea what good or bad voice acting is and are just speaking from your ass. Listen to Tomie speaking, it sounds perfectly fine. Even if it was off, did you ever think that maybe it's *supposed* to sound off and unnatural? Cause, I dunno, it's a *horror* anime? I'm sure these professional VA's have a much better understanding of their capabilities and credibility than some randie does. |
