| The show is back and oh boy, they didn't waste time getting rough with gang drama and beating people up already. Takemichi is caught into this as always. But seriously, Tenjiku is no pushover and they came with a full force. It was still great to see familiar faces back and they're really building up this season. Kawata in particular filled this episode with his energy and charisma. Takemichi also had a lot of balls fighting Kakucho. |

| Months may have changed, seasons may have changed… but the question still remains the same, how in the name of jesus nobody reported anything at all about these bunch of middle schoolers making an absolute scene right in the middle of street and that too in broad daylight??? I mean people were about to die lol. Though anyways, being logical and thinking with a normal brain aside(THAT ONE THING YOU SHOULDN’T DO WHILE WATCHING THIS SERIES), I liked how Kisaki just came in, dropped a one-liner and went away, leaving Takemitchy perplexed. He in Tenjiku now, but his obsession with Mikey and Toman is still the same. By the way, Mocchi made an appearance, one of the four heavenly kings within Tenjiku, and he’s an absolute menace. Smiley and Angry to the rescue, otherwise stupid Takemitchy had his ass busted once again. But did this dude really not know they were twins, even though he’s in the same gang as them???? Though hey atleast, he could run his mind a bit and think along the possibility of Kisaki being a time leaper too. But we’ll have to wait and see about this thing. Kakucho made his appearance too, and somehow he’s a childhood friend of this Takemitchy, that explains why and how he could win against Kakucho, a simple luck in play. Decent enough start to the arc to what was the last time this series was decent enough too. |
| Tokyo Revengers's (Yohohama) Tenjiku Arc, real shit starts from here. Official HIGE DANdism's White Noise reappears as the OP, using its 2nd verse and chorus. A bit unprofessional, but it kinda still fits. Takemichi finding Kisaki joining the side of one of the famous gangs of Yohohama Tenjiku, this is him forming own version of Toman so that Mikey can acknowledge him being a loyal leader back then, with Hanma joining him. But Takemichi did not expect Toman's 4th Division Captain and vice-captain to be the Kawata twins: Angry Souya and his twin brother Smiley Nahoya, and they're both a force to be reckoned with. To Takemichi, it feels like his time leaping feat was all for naught, and since the future didn't change and got worse overtime, Kisaki could also be like Takemichi to travel across time. That in and of itself is a plausible explanation for all the things that Takemichi has experienced, and ultimately, Kisaki would be his primary target. Mitsuya getting accosted by the Haitani Brothers who've joined Tenjiku, not even Toman could topple them the way they are now. One of the Big Four of Tenjiku, Kakucho facing the 4 guys, but the one he so desperately wanted to fight against is Takemichi, as Tenjiku's leader of Izana Kurokawa meets Mikey for the first time, setting a precedent for the events going forward. But to think that Kaku was his childhood friend, it was a reunion of long-coming friiends that he certainly did not know, and even for Kaku, as much as Takemichi wants him to help him out, things have taken the turn for the worse. A traitor on the loose? Shit has hit the fan SO HARD this season. |

| Watched this raw. I guess this season will be streamed on Disney+ too? We start with the second half of the previous OP! I won't mind if this will be the OP for this season tbh. I've never seen the second half of the full version being used as the OP for a later season. Seems cool. Is it just me or the fighting animation is better than previous seasons? Maybe this is just for the first episode. Everyone's been thinking that Kisaki may be a time traveler too but Takemichi is thinking about it only now lol Gotta wonder why Tenjuku wasn't mentioned at all previously. Traitor? Interesting. Pretty good premiere. I've heard that this is the best arc so I'm looking forward to it. |

| Alright, so they're keeping the same opening from last season? That's alright. It still doesn't surpass the first season's, but it clearly emphasizes that this season will revolve around the gang war between Tenjiku and Toman, with Takemichi caught in the crossfire. There's also the impending showdown between the groups, and the involvement of Emma and Hina. Takemichi kicking off the season in his usual state... beaten up. Kisaki seems to have him exactly where he wants him. And he and Hanma just... let him go? It's puzzling. Isn't this the perfect opportunity to eliminate Takemichi? Does he genuinely want his "Hero" to oppose him and thwart his plans? While I understand Kisaki's goal of gaining Mikey's recognition and using Tenjiku, I'm lost as to what he intends to do with Takemichi. Who would've guessed that one of the big shots from Tenjiku would turn out to be Takemichi's childhood friend? He comes across as a genuinely affable and respectful guy, even if his unwavering loyalty to Izana means he won't aid his old friend. He even lets Takemichi land a hit on him, despite likely being much stronger. Although, he clearly harbors distrust towards Kisaki. Personally, I'm most invested in Izana. It's a shame that LIDENFILMS, in my opinion, isn't the best studio to handle Tokyo Revengers. |

| They just reused the same OP π even the studio stopped caring about this Nah but white noise does bang so I ain’t too mad Looks like the animation is a little better this season. The twins’ introduction was pretty cool. The middle schoolers are as realistic as ever. Mfs just having brawls in the middle of residential areas man cmon. Pretty sure Mitsuya is going to have some bleeding on the brain lol after getting hit with that cinderblock. The tenjiku people seem to be the most unhinged group Toman have gone up against. Perfect weapon for Kisaki to manipulate. Speaking of Kisaki, I feel like he’s probably not a time traveller.. when you change the past it will change the future too. Time doesn’t work in such a simple way. So Takemichi childhood friend is in Tenjiku hmm that’s an interesting twist, and there’s a traitor.. story seems like it’ll be pretty good this season. Nonsensical writing aside, I’ve heard a lot of good things about this arc so we’ll see how LIDENFILMS do with it. |

I wish everyone who is watching weekly a lot of fun, but after 7 days I totally forget every name of every character, so I will wait until the end of the season to binge watch. :D

| I've heard this is the best arc of Tokyo Revengers so let's see if it lives up to that. Hopefully it isn't butchered though since, if my memory is correct from when I googled it months ago, I believe this arc is 66 (?) chapters, so that much in 13 episodes is going to be crazy. I might consider reading the arc in the manga. Anyway, we're back with more Japanese middle school gang misadventures lol. The crowd that gathered as that one Tenjiku member was beating the life out of the unnamed Toman grunt is probably the closest this anime has gotten to portraying any sort of adult presence lmao. And still, they did nothing πππ also interesting to see Takemichi's childhood friend as a big shot member of Tenjiku, along with the possibility of Kisaki being a time traveler (which is something I thought about after last season ended). Let's see what twists await us in this arc. Was hoping for a new OP, but White Noise is a good song so I don't mind having it back. |

| welp, it's back and with the same opening LMFAO but tbf it is a banger opening. animation still isn't good but doesn't look as bad as last season, the visuals for the opening took most of the budget again. more of takemichi and his "ehhhhhhs" because my man never knows anything, flabbergasted for days. smiley and angry twins stole the show this time though and we see izana again. gotta gear up for 12 more episodes of this, that's rough. |

| Solid first episode, you get right back into plot from the first second, very nice glad there's still an uncensored version, much more soul in that mangafrogs say 13 eps isn't enough to adapt the whole arc, hope they won't skip too much important stuff, if this season is a disappointment i'll just read it in mango after it ends. Wonder if we'll get true opening visuals,it seems like they just took part of episodes and mixed it, like that Zom 100 show did (took 9 episodes to get good visuals) |

I am more or less with you and others on the "Adults Missing is Unrealistic" but to be fair there was a scene where someone from Toman was getting beaten and the crowd had gathered near them and they were concerned and someone among them mentioned "Where are the cops?" So there is that. π¬π€·βοΈ |
| Damn these delinquents are back. We'll see if Takemichi will ever change. Tenjiku is starting. I'd say Kisaki is the most intriguing villain of the series. Though there's Izana to look out for. |
