| The classic handsome guy and unpopular girl type of romance anime. I can't blame Hana for her personality though. She just seems timid and lacks confidence in herself. There's some flower references but the show is very lighthearted. Yousuke Ueno has that handsome look so they're literally pairing up two contrasting characters together. I find this episode kinda cute tbh. |

| Mangaka Roku Sakura's completed manga series is quite the disruptor to the heavy-hitting romance genre this Summer season, where it's quite the mix of Skip and Loafer as well as Honey Lemon Soda, but trade the female MC with a plus-sized girl. What's up with K-Pop groups getting better at their songs, as is one of the most recent groups of TWS (pronounced Two-Us) with their debut Anisong here? It's got quite the groove and beat to it. Despite having a nice name for a female, the high school girl of Hana Tabata, however, is no flower, due to her fat, plump size, and with no friends to account for, like how fantasy Shoujo manga and their pretty female protagonists always do. However, it's her classmate of Yosuke Ueno who sees her indifferently, though with the perchance that she's talking with the extroverted popular guy in class that causes her to freak out having her secret known. Of course, love letters for Ueno are the norm, though with Tabata witnessing a girl dropping her love letter onto Ueno's shoe locker and almost having found out by said boy herself, and his classmate of Tetsuo Gotanda not recognizing her. Yet, Ueno realizing that it's Tabata who is involved with the flowers, and that is their secret together. The unpopular girl having to wrestle with yet another day in school, and add in yet another pretty girl classmate of Sumire Uguisudani, Tabata feels her weight standing against quite the popular ones in her class and being stressed out about it. With Tabata being in the beautification committee to tend to her school's flower beds, she gets some unexpected help with Ueno after having to pair up for said work against another class rep who just doesn't want to do the dirty work, which ires him all the more of Tabata working alone. And since she's with Ueno, her self-consciousness raises the bar, even offering to pay for convenience store tidbits for his help. A plump girl finding confidence and love in-between, this is quite the start. I hope that Crunchyroll will license this at the last minute, because it deserves one. Too bad you'll have to sail the high seas between Bilibili or ADN for this one... |

| wait, those surnames, Tabata, Ueno, Uguisuidani, Gotanda, and Shimbashi. They're all train stations on the Yamanote Line. btw, Uguisuidani Station is located closer to Ueno Station than Tabata Station. |

| I would say it gives Skip to Loafer mixed with Kuragehime and Watashi ga Motete Dousanda(if the heroine stayed how she was to begin with xD) vibes. I love these kind of series. Especially Skip to Loafer and Kimi no Todoke are amazing. Looks great so far. Very cute and funny start. Hana's antics hit the right spot and Silver Link does a solid job as usual. |

| Really fun and good episode actually. Ah yes, the typical "unpopular girl and popular guy" romance type anime. But I don't mind that, I've watched a lot of those so, I can tell what's going to happen in the end. Hana is really fun to watch and is quite relatable actually. Playing gacha games and dating simulators in the washroom, HELL YEAH. Jokes aside, her personality is really likeable and honestly, I'd like to be friends with her. Yosuke is a great guy in general, always caring for others and helping. I already really like these two, hope they get closer next episode. 5/5 |
| The comparisons to other shoujo anime (Kimi Ni Todoke in particular) are apt. I'm in for the long haul and curious to see if this beings anything new to the table. Also, Hayami Saori is awesome. |

Ik i saw similar things in thiz anime, its basically copy paste kimi ni todoke, ofc mc guy is loved by everyone and girl is shy and ofc taking care of flower bed. But even tho its copy, i love this anime, it gives me comzy vibe. |

| I really liked this. Ueno-kun feels quite oblivious to just how nice he is, too. I expect a lot of viewers will have problems with the female MC and how negatively she consistently views herself. People were hard on Honey Lemon Soda so I'm not anticipating patience when it comes to Tabata. |

| Oh I love love love that Saori Hayami is voicing MC, her voice is incredibly pleasant. She's so dramatic and anxious, I'm guessing (but it's kinda obvious) this popular guy will slowly start to make her feel more comfortable around people. But gosh, she is so insecure it's hard to watch, I feel bad for her. A slow start, but it's fine so far, nothing special. |

| She's so cringe but solely because its relatable This is overall pretty cliche, a loser loner girl who falls in love with the popular nonchalant guy. I'm liking this so far, its silly and cute! Not a huge fan of all the brown though. 8/11 |
