The 1st season had great fight scenes and I thought the themes of it were ok.... that's about it. Everything else about this anime is sub-par and it only got worse with the 2nd season.

So Demon Slayer is an exception because its got high viewership but Solo Leveling is mid. Yet Solo Leveling had a high viewership. Make it, make sense.

You know it, I know it, and everybody knows Demon Slayer's story isn't innovative that gets carried by ufotable's unlimted budget. Hell one of the criticisms from infinity castle was the backstories were dragged out and every villain has to have a somber backstory. Which I personally don't mind since I know exactly what I'm getting with demon slayer's story. But the animation is always top notch.

If you don’t like the story then don’t watch. Windbreaker getting another season is no different from yet another Isekai getting yet another season. If it’s not for you, don’t partake. The only complaints I ever hear about season two is because “everyone” got in their feelings about the character Tsubakino, and honestly great. If that’s the character that ruins the show for you, please do leave the fandom. The whole message to windbreaker is calling out a lot of problem norms in society that just foster division and exclusion. The anime is just the manga brought to life on the screen.

Wind Breaker can't be taken seriously since Furin High has no teachers but banal characters and story? lol, no.

Wind Breaker excels in character development, dynamics, writing, and it has a good story. the story is born from Sakura's journey from who he was in the beginning to who he is currently and as it goes on. dude, the story is emotionally deep and touching. you can't be saying this if you watched s2 especially after seeing Tsubakino's arc. (this is coming from a manga reader since early 2023).

Perhaps a show focused on young delinquents healing from their respective traumas/emotional distress via comraderie simply isn't for you, but nothing is wasted for those of us who love these kinds of stories.

With how popular the series is, I expect a s3, and I'm incredibly excited for it. The next big arc is both really good and a huge one for the growth of many characters.

I wouldn't call any of those "wasted animation", those easy to watch with cool fight scenes shows are some of the animes that get the most people to start watching anime in the first place, even if Kimetsu, Solo Levelling and Wind Breaker narratives are kinda ass, i much prefer new fans getting into anime by watching those shows, than never getting into the media ever

Your perspective is misguided. Every anime deserves quality animation — that should be the standard across the industry. Instead of criticizing Windbreaker for receiving good animation, direct that energy toward the shows that didn’t. Constructive criticism like that actually drives improvement.
