| Damn, that fight between the two can be summed up in one word: determination. The amount of grit Sensei and Toujima showed today was no joke, and the fight itself was straight-up brawling. If Toujima had lowered his head, he would've felt(or smelled)something truly Subarashi. |

| Damn, every week I'm completely left speechless with this show. The fights are pure passion 😭❤️🔥❤️🔥💯 The sound effects are pleasure to your ears. Yuriko was unstoppable. Her screaming sent shivers down my spine. She was relentless in defeating Tojima. The girl showed that Tackle can also be the protagonist not just Kamen Rider. One proper blow from Tojima would have knocked Yuriko for good. But she survived and managed to land multiple blows to him and take him down in the end. Hands off for this woman for winning this pure battle of passion and perseverance. I love how this anime is unpredictable. Who would have thought that Mitsuba and Yuriko would be the ones facing off against each other in the finals instead of Ichiyo and Tojima !? I don't know if Ichiyo really let his brother win but both Yuriko and Mitsuba deserved their win. Yuriko and Tojima were able to convince Yukarisu how mad and true they can be when it comes to admiring their heroes and acting as them. This is how the fights should be. Meanwhile One Punch Man just has the punch only in it's name. |
| PURE FUCKING CINEMA OH MY GOD THIS SHOW BLOWS ME AWAY EVERY FUCKING WEEK. Even in the face of Toujima’s seemingly indomitable rider spirit, Yuriko dug deep and found a way to overcome it. THATS WHY SHES THE FUCKING GOAT. I told y’all last week she’d get the W. It’s so fucking cool how she channeled the original Tackle’s pain and suffering about not being saved in the original KR series and used that as her strength. All that regret and longing.. Toujima couldn’t compete with that. It’s so cool how the cast of this show are basically the embodiments of their characters from the original KR series, as if they’re their reincarnations into the real world. Matter of fact, wouldn’t surprise me if that ended up being the big twist of the story. Toujima getting revived by KR merch at the end is so funny too lmao. Great episode |

| Holy shit, Darkness is fighting an opponent with the durability of Darkness. Yuriko knows how to hold her own in the ring, and Toujima is invincible so long as he keeps his mask on. Weld that thing to his face for when the bad guys show up. Next up, we can finally end this tournament arc and go back to Yakuza Guy. |

@EcchiGodMamster Well, she is there for the boob physics. Dude is so strong she was taking damage without even being hit. And all the time she was saying one hit and she was gone. Having her winning it was beyond stupid.

| Oh wow, Tackle beat Kamen Rider. That was brutal! And man, Ai Kayano's performance as Tackle was fucking awesome. I love listening to her in more leading roles. The post-credits scene with Toujima living and dying with and without the mask was hilarious xD. |
| I’m surprised no one else has said it yet, but Toujima likely got knocked unconscious partway through the fight, after which it was just the mask keeping him running on autopilot as a mindless zombie. |

Furthermore, from a narrative standpoint, it's quite obvious what the author is doing: in every shonen anime with a tournament arc, the protagonist loses, but when it's time to face the villain, he wins. This is normal and extremely cliché in shonen anime. I don't think it's idiotic. Factor in the scenes of him taking down literal bears and knocking down the spider monster, who is levels above the others in the group- he was built to be an unstoppable force. The audience might expect them to treat him as such. Not to mention, the years of training he has over her. Additionally, when I started to go along with the narrative that Tojima has raw strength and Tackle has speed/technique- and Tackle needs to avoid even a single hit if she must win-- She literally no-sells a straight up Rider Punch and reverses into her own throw to end the fight! It wouldn't matter if she was a man or woman at that point. After all that build up? Questionable writing, if you ask me. |
