I'm confused, was there a traitor or something?

The rest can't open the exit, so will presumably get killed once the others escape, if not already killed fighting over the tags.

The ending was a bit confusing, but it looks like the "wall" was just bamboo and the other team were able to breach it and attack from a direction thought safe. And someone was digging up the tags so it looks like there might have been a traitor in this team.

The whole game does seem disappointingly arbitrary, though. I prefer actual puzzles over battle royale rules.

Am I tripping? I don't understand a lot of things in this episode. Is it just me or this episode feels too fast-paced and cut a lot of stuff?

I have difficulty understanding how this game works. There are 30 tags/cards and 50 girls, and you need to have one of the 30 tags to escape the bath (to beat the game), right? But then they suddenly started talking about entryway... What's this entryway? And what does entryway team mean?

Azuma said there are probably 9 tags/cards here (in the public bath)... which means there are 21 more cards not taken yet??
Can someone just explain to me again how the game worked?

And why do those two girls chase a specific girl (the one that Yuki helped)?

@RealNath Entry way is basically the exit where you use the cards to get shoes; so that you can escape without getting electrocuted, the floor is electrocuted and mishiro and her team are waiting there to kill any unsuspecting passerby... To get their keys because they were the first to wake up...

The rest of the cards are with Mishiro...

Azuma let yuki join her because yukki is pretty famous among killing game agents and players so having her on your team improves your chances of survival because she wants to save as much of her team as she can...

Yuki had mad a lot of mistakes in this episode which will be explained next episode...

The two girls chased the girl yukki saved because their ultimate goal was total annihlation of the opposite team or to get their keys and killing injured players will dwindle oppositions number... Mishiro is pretty good of a leader that is why she is governing the exact amount of players that can survive... Killing the rest, the fodder... Yukkis team is the 2nd largest and the only other team of 10+ members...

Mishiro as a leader is trying to get exact amount of keys so that her entire team can escape together, because as yuki said episode 1, helping others will improve your chance of survival, so if mishiro were to ditch her team that would create unnecessary rivals in future game...

Mishiro is a manipulator but she is a much better leader tbh...

Games are a mix of Puzzle, Sometimes survival and sometimes battle Royale... The battle essence was reduced a lot for giving sol homey vibe though...

I don't get what you mean here. Wdym "ultimate girl" and "total annihilation of the opposite team"? The grammar mistakes (?) make it hard to understand.

Idk what exactly Yuuki was missing at the end, idk the whole thing with them just casually opening the wall up from behind and attacking from behind kinda confused me. Did someone on Yuuki's side break a gap in the wall and was like a traitor or something?

Putting that aside this game is very dependent on the players, the prior ones we've seen have been more based on the actual game setting traps to take you down but this ones literally a deathmatch. I guess it was in the rules they had to do this otherwise they could have all just grouped up and made for the exit.

Though I suppose their is a limited number of those things they need to even leave in the first place. I imagine this game will end in a episode or two considering how simple it is in concept. Based of how many episodes are left unless they take a different route with the story I assume we'll get two more games after this.

Or perhaps one massive game for the rest of the show after this one ends. Unless Golden bath lasts longer than im expecting. In general this game is kinda dull compared to the last two since its literally just a deathmatch, the other two had a level of tension and fear to them that this one don't have.

This one feels more like watching a action anime or what not.

These moments are always the hardest to avoid spoiling, LMAO. But I'll hold back and just ask everyone not to ruin anyone's fun, or their own, and to wait until the end of this arc.

@AdrianFTW99 I don't know about the manga, but the anime's direction seems to have been done in collaboration with the author, so that makes sense... I guess.

Holy fuck, what an ending! They just gonna leave us with cliffhangers every week and keep getting us more and more addicted to this series like crack lol. I really like how they’ve shown Yuki is not perfect and she does make mistakes. I know she has to feel awful for miscalculating the game and the girls getting massacred, that was beyond brutal. I’m just confused as to why they thought a bamboo wall would keep them safe? Also, did Mishiro get tuberculosis or what’s up with her coughing blood?? I need my haters to lovers yuri ship to survive.

Lastly, Azuma please be ok! She deserves to survive and thrive in the real world. Yuki vs Mikan next week should be good, the art direction here continues to be immense and I still can’t get over those water color painting style images for the background!
