Yeah, I did not expect part of this death game to have the characters in towels. But rather than some brutal fight, there's that heartwarming scene of the cast working together to survive. I especially found that montage song scene charming. Got another cliffhangerish ending again. This show seems to love those.

Holy fuck, what an ending! They just gonna leave us with cliffhangers every week and keep getting us more and more addicted to this series like crack lol. I really like how they’ve shown Yuki is not perfect and she does make mistakes. I know she has to feel awful for miscalculating the game and the girls getting massacred, that was beyond brutal. I’m just confused as to why they thought a bamboo wall would keep them safe? Also, did Mishiro get tuberculosis or what’s up with her coughing blood?? I need my haters to lovers yuri ship to survive. Lastly, Azuma please be ok! She deserves to survive and thrive in the real world. Yuki vs Mikan next week should be good, the art direction here continues to be immense and I still can’t get over those water color painting style images for the background!

Well, this started in a completely unexpected way. I thought Mishiro group would camp the spawn 24/7, but maybe Yuuki woke up even later than usual this time and they already gave up. I have 1 idea of what Yuuki is talking about, but now we have to wait until the next week to find out.

50 girls and only 30 keys is a tough pill to swallow. Such a specific number too with it being Yuki's 30th game. Could be a coincidence, or maybe something more. She has built up a reputation for herself after all. Azuma and Yuki's interactions have been rocky, but I do hope she survives this game. If only to see another familiar face in the story. Also, Riko killing girls so Mishiro will give her headpats is wild stuff. Mishiro's got some masterful charisma to pull that off.

Ok it seems to be a simpler death game this time, there might be a twist at the end tho. They got flanked big time but they still had knives so i hope they took a couple of them down

I'm confused, was there a traitor or something?
@YuushaNi I'm also lowk confused, I got the feeling there would prolly be a traitor given the girls are split in groups. But more importantly I fail to recognize the importance of the game being set in a public bath and the mistake Yuki overlooked.

And she really did mess up this time. Why didn't she check? Usually she'd be more careful but guess they had to force in the 30th game bad luck shit somehow and this is the result.

This is something unexpected for someone who read LN... Side note: Yuki didnt tell azuma she wanted to beat 99 games cause she was embarrassed to after the convo with kinko's father and gave the reason azuma gave and azuma said same... The fight scenes are shortened, Azuma got over ayuki, because she is off her game than Yukkis survival instinct led her to open an opportunity to get over... They tried to build character relations, Killed 'em off, As I remember only one girl died in the struggle from yukki's team and others hid during the time they were attacked, Now it's a massacre, Riko is more prominent now? Girl I wanna see Mishiro WTF is she bleeding and chocking, None of that happened 😭... I see what they gonna do, I'm crying, They gonna Yurify it further... DAMN!!!! I still hope they adapt the bonus chapter, It was especially brutal, The pacing made it seem it will end by the next episode...🙏 Candle Woods-4 Eps? Or we having anime original game or epilogue... Oh! THE ANTICIPATION... They didn't have any poster for this arc, Thats a shame, I was waiting to see characters get proper respectful art but looks like it's a nope or someone send me the arcs poster with the Character that they released for golden bath

This motherfuckers are having a battle royale death game at the pools' version of the backrooms. I was like can't they like go over the walls or shit between the outdoors onsen and they sure did fucking lol. Artsy crack cocaine as usual from the director guy. He is a good dealer of this shit as always. I understand why people are pissed of at his direction from the manga guys (skimmed through a few chapters), but i fucking love everything this guy is doing to this shit. I can't have enough of visual orgasms with the bgm tracks they use. I hope this guy dose some actual horror shit with this type of direction 'cause we don't have any of those, good ones at least. 10/10, I wonder how many pillows they can stuff with all that white cotton shit from this episode. Someone should start a side gig with that lol.

The wall they are so proud of are made of thin and seemingly light bamboos...oh my god lmfao! Surprisingly enough, that one mistake Yuuki made is oddly "human" enough and it could end her life; easily believing what others say. What the hell made Yuuki's group believe that "wall" is foolproof? Or maybe the game organizers had a hand in this?

Am I tripping? I don't understand a lot of things in this episode. Is it just me or this episode feels too fast-paced and cut a lot of stuff? I have difficulty understanding how this game works. There are 30 tags/cards and 50 girls, and you need to have one of the 30 tags to escape the bath (to beat the game), right? But then they suddenly started talking about entryway... What's this entryway? And what does entryway team mean? Azuma said there are probably 9 tags/cards here (in the public bath)... which means there are 21 more cards not taken yet?? Can someone just explain to me again how the game worked? And why do those two girls chase a specific girl (the one that Yuki helped)?

The rest can't open the exit, so will presumably get killed once the others escape, if not already killed fighting over the tags. The ending was a bit confusing, but it looks like the "wall" was just bamboo and the other team were able to breach it and attack from a direction thought safe. And someone was digging up the tags so it looks like there might have been a traitor in this team. The whole game does seem disappointingly arbitrary, though. I prefer actual puzzles over battle royale rules. |

@Mirality I still don't get it 😵💫😵💫. As far as I understand what you mean, there are a few girls in the public bath (the raining area) who don't have a tag, but they teamed up? And I still don't understand what this "entryway" thing is. What is "entryway" and the "entryway team"? Is "entryway" the bath Yuki and Mikan (the drowned girl) woke up in? There are two teams (Azuma/Yuki's team, and Mishiro's team (the entryway team) ), right? I thought Mishiro's team are people who don't have a tag and is fighting against the team who already has tags to take the tags and beat the game. But Mishiro already got the tag from the previous episode. What's her objective again?

@RealNath Entry way is basically the exit where you use the cards to get shoes; so that you can escape without getting electrocuted, the floor is electrocuted and mishiro and her team are waiting there to kill any unsuspecting passerby... To get their keys because they were the first to wake up... The rest of the cards are with Mishiro... Azuma let yuki join her because yukki is pretty famous among killing game agents and players so having her on your team improves your chances of survival because she wants to save as much of her team as she can... Yuki had mad a lot of mistakes in this episode which will be explained next episode... The two girls chased the girl yukki saved because their ultimate goal was total annihlation of the opposite team or to get their keys and killing injured players will dwindle oppositions number... Mishiro is pretty good of a leader that is why she is governing the exact amount of players that can survive... Killing the rest, the fodder... Yukkis team is the 2nd largest and the only other team of 10+ members... Mishiro as a leader is trying to get exact amount of keys so that her entire team can escape together, because as yuki said episode 1, helping others will improve your chance of survival, so if mishiro were to ditch her team that would create unnecessary rivals in future game... Mishiro is a manipulator but she is a much better leader tbh... Games are a mix of Puzzle, Sometimes survival and sometimes battle Royale... The battle essence was reduced a lot for giving sol homey vibe though...

Idk what exactly Yuuki was missing at the end, idk the whole thing with them just casually opening the wall up from behind and attacking from behind kinda confused me. Did someone on Yuuki's side break a gap in the wall and was like a traitor or something? Putting that aside this game is very dependent on the players, the prior ones we've seen have been more based on the actual game setting traps to take you down but this ones literally a deathmatch. I guess it was in the rules they had to do this otherwise they could have all just grouped up and made for the exit. Though I suppose their is a limited number of those things they need to even leave in the first place. I imagine this game will end in a episode or two considering how simple it is in concept. Based of how many episodes are left unless they take a different route with the story I assume we'll get two more games after this. Or perhaps one massive game for the rest of the show after this one ends. Unless Golden bath lasts longer than im expecting. In general this game is kinda dull compared to the last two since its literally just a deathmatch, the other two had a level of tension and fear to them that this one don't have. This one feels more like watching a action anime or what not.

Calm before the storm. This episode is weirdly heartwarming in some sort of way, unlike other episode filled with tense or horror, but you can still hear some sort of girl screaming sound in the background when Yuuki and the others are talking or maybe I'm just tripping. Azuma is one of the better girls in the anime so far, she gave a straightforward answer to Yuuki, telling her to keep playing the games until 99 wins Well, in the end nothing is safe, the curse of the 30th game strikes Yuuki, causing Azuma's squad losing a lot of manpower, looking forward to see how Yuuki turn this thing around.

@Phantom_373 I guess like a usual Japanese bathhouse have two pools separated with walls and they're usually next to each other, and in the episode it is separated with bamboo fences, I assume that they have enough manpower to just lift up the bamboo fences and launch a surprise attack, this is just my assumption.

@RobertBobert I mean the part she coughed blood cotton. What did I miss on the last episodes? Golden bath looks like a liminal bath instead... wait.

Once again, this anime is proving to have an amazing direction, and perfectly knows how to create tension and a feeling of uneasiness. Right from the introduction of Yuki to this 2nd group, you could feel something tragic about it, almost as if there was no hope for them. The end of the episode proved that, when they suffered a surprise attack, leading to the death of almost every girl from Yuki's group by Mishiro's group. It's also interesting to see how distressed Yuki was when she realized she didn't check the possibility of the other group entering there from another way, knowing that left them with no chips and to the death of many of the girls. Mishiro also seems to be quite sick. Media loves to make characters cough blood when they are sick, when in reality there aren't many causes for that, and it's not that usual. I wonder what disease she has, but I doubt they will reveal the exact disease. Maybe tuberculosis? Either way, that girl that took down 3 girls to get Mishiro's praise is really scary honestly, and now it seems she was the one that killed the most girls of that group. I'm really curious to watch the next episode! We're already more than halfway through! Can't believe it has been 6 weeks already since this started airing. This anime certainly surprised me a lot, especially with its direction! Edit: Forgot to mention, but I was a bit confused from where Mishori's group entered though.

@R_sei_ Nothing critical, but I'll remind you again that this game is more important for Mishiro's character arc, so things will be explained in order and accordingly border on spoilers place. @PokefanPT Well, one of the reasons sick characters often cough up blood is because most serious illnesses in media are either tuberculosis or wounds with severe bleeding, or emulate them. For example, the (in)famous "Victorian disease" in 19th-century literature was largely based on this. @KOTFTW I think the story partly "suffers" from the fact that it's the Saw-type of storytelling where things are only fully explained and rationalized at the end as a "what a twist" with the characteristic music, if you know what I mean.

The death game is a death match in the bathhouse, something overlooked, usually an escape game, and the confrontation between Yuki and Mishiro is here!

Yuki fucked up big time. Let's just see how big of a fuck up is it. Jesus this arc is so good. It foreshadows how she has been getting sloppy as of late.
I had to change this because some loser couldn't make an actual argument. So....yeah I hope you guys like the new sig.

@Marinate1016 I'd think it's some complication with the process that made them able to be restored from moderate injuries, though I think they might still be able to die? I forget if they really explained it much, the one girl that met a bunch of buzzsaws in the first game we saw probably didn't survive

@magatetus I think that's Riko, not Mishiro, far as I can tell. Mishiro's still coughing up fluff, Riko has been shown as desperate for Mishiro's attention, so she seemingly set something up and that conflict is going to reflect on MIshiro's ongoing rivalry with Yuki

Ok so I guess it's just going to be Yuki vs a team of people lead by Mishiro + a killer Loli who'll do anything for head pats. The rest of the other slow starters are probably dead, except maybe Azuma? Hopefully she survives but she's probably going to die ngl. I hope not though. Also love how Yuki has a reputation now. I wonder though, what's going on with Mishiro? Her arms a prosthetic now but it seems she's dying somehow? Imagine if she dies before she even sees Yuki? or she dies as she watches Yuki clear and leave the game. Anyways seems the main fighter is the loli girl not Mishiro.

The game "arena" or whatever you'd call it looks so huge compared to how it's described in the LN, but then yea there are 100 players in this one too.
