| Looks like there's some trust issue being discussed this episode. Patausche dressed up in those "noble lady" clothes was cute imo. Her reactions were also priceless. Dotta was also judged for his crimes and yeah, that was not a pretty trial. I think it was important just to see how trials are operated in their world. Doesn't matter what Patausche is wearing though, she's still a badass with the way she handled this case. |

| Xylo, you see what you've done by not praising her previous outfit, Kivii, you've left her with emotional trauma. Frency needs to be taught him how to give compliments. The episode is a masterpiece, and at the end it was even sad that it ended so quickly, and now I'm eagerly awaiting the continuation of the fun. |
| Aww, Dotta just wanted to steal a dragon to rescue the crown prince. That noble goal of his has forced him into one dangerous profession. Also, this is one messed up adventurers guild. Sending kids to try and take out Xylo and Kivia is a new low. Good thing there's a hero on the scene to clean up this awful organization! |

 giving a child a sword really is such an unc thing to do. after some rewatch i kinda understand that they're trying to investigate who led the assassination attempts for teoritta but i don't really understand the motives of why they want to assassinate teoritta. especially since boojum, the suspected human demon, is just a bounty hunter. also we get dotta's yuusakei ni shosu origin and reveals much of the conspiracy of the royal family being demons too. Weird that they're just letting anyone who knows this conspiracy free as penal heroes unless they have a proper use to them in the end. |

| Never thought I would see our good guys throwing hands with child assassins. At least they kinda pulled their punches on them. Not sure about the girl that got strucked by the door. Also, Dotta backstory is quite interesting. But it's disappointing that they don't specify the timeline for every flashback, so we know how long all of them have been sentenced. Now we wait for His Majesty and Tatsuya's backstory. |

| I love when women are dominant, and Franci and Kivia are those kinds of women. I love Franci’s design, she’s a baddie. But you know who's more of a baddie? Yes, Kiva, even when dressed as a noble lady she’s hella hot. I love her expressions and her tsundereness. |
| Kivia falling into the haters to lovers trope lmao. Idk how that’ll square since Xylo still has his fiance, but I’m enjoying seeing her gradually fall for him. She’s so cute, she’s just really uptight and struggles to connect with people intimately as we saw in that meeting with her uncle. Some time with Xylo and his group will do her good. That tsundere “do I look like a man” scene was so sweet though! That Dotta flashback was massively important. We already knew some sort of cover up was going on in the kingdom but it seems like the royal family themselves are being manipulated or controlled by magic, likely the church being responsible as per usual in fantasy stories. I wonder if that prince ever managed to escape and if we’ll see he and Dotta get a reunion. I’m really curious, I think what’s going on is that the faction who want coexistence with the demon blight(probably power too) are controlling the royal family and making sure humans don’t actually defeat the demon blight. That’s why they got rid of one of their best warriors like Xylo. Frenci to the rescue! That was an awful plan by Kivia and Xylo because Kivia has zero acting experience lol. I been waiting on Xylo’s two girls to meet and have a little disagreement. Not them bonding over how much of a dumbass Xylo is lol. If anyone deserves a harem ending, it’s this dude after everything he been thru. But I feel like Kivia will be one of them characters they just don’t explore romantically and kinda waste her. I hope I’m wrong. Next week looks to be much more action oriented, I’m excited. |

| The demon guy can read! Nice little side mission to beat down the Adventurer's Guild™ mafia and all of its child soldiers. Some development for Kivia, as well. A sudden genre shift to romcom was not what I was expecting, but I will treasure this time without Tertiary and her tantrums. Not that screeching shota DOTA is much better. |

| "Kivia" is a name that matches Xylo's not-second-fiancé's air of coolness so well that it feels weird learning her given name is Pistachio (or however it's spelt) Either way, love her dynamic with Frenci to death lol |

| Pacing was a bit slow but not a bad episode. I do like Kivia's character in the series but I expected her to just be a friend to Xylo after the first few episodes and felt content with just that. But it seems like some more tropes are starting to pop up with making her a bit of a tsundere with some level of romantic feelings as well as her 'clashing' initially with Frenci and ranting about Xylo with both clearly in for him. I did at least like the moment where Kivia was overcompensating at times to show more depth to her personality, whether trying to convince Xylo that her disguise was effectively and womanly, as well as going over-the-top when describing herself and Xylo when they were 'requesting a job' and described their relationship as wife of noble/paramour. I did find her to be the one character I sort of liked from the start and her showing off her personality and development with growing trust in Xylo is dope, but I am worried that the series will nerf her too much and make her too dependent on him. I hope that's not the case and she can still stand out on top of her development with understanding these heroes a bit more. More showing of how some of these heroes got sentenced with Dotta this time being screwed over and not being listened to about the young prince there. Would have liked the scene to be longer since I did like it but it is what it is. I didn't care for Dotta at all before this and while I'm still mild towards him, at least this helped give something. Art was some of the weakest its been since the show started, definitely felt like a low-priority episode for that. But the backgrounds and world building was fine enough and the action towards the end with the child assassins did look solid. |
| Kivia blushing over being complimented was great to see although she has a rival in Frenci, good luck Xylo haha. Regarding Dotta and his backstory, it's clear to me that the church doesn't care about crimes so as long as perpetrators, in this case Dotta, don't get close to the truth and by trying to rescue a prince he must've gotten close to revealing a dark secret... which I think is that the demon blight has spread into royalty as well as the church itself. |
