| Bazz-B and Jugram face off. Yhwach had razed their homes when they were kids, and the two decided to join the Stern Ritter to get close enough to kill Yhwach. But when Yhwach decided to choose Jugram as his advisor, Bazz-B's animosity turned to his friend after Yhwach disclosed the true nature of Jugram's ability, to give other Quincies power. In the end, Jugram cuts off Bazz-B's arm and slashes his chest, and Bazz-B slumps to the ground in front of his former friend. |

| Episode 12 (38) : Jugram and Bazz's past is interesting, it allows us to better understand how the Quincy work. A very good episode, good pace, good fight, nothing to complain about. |
| Episode 39 Ichigo falls to Askin, and Orihime and Chad are crippled with reishi poisoning when they try to help him. But Yoruichi comes through and gets them out of the bind, and she stays behind while the others head to the castle. Then her brother Yushiro arrives and he pummels Askin, but Askin recovers quickly and puts three arrows in Yushiro's chest. Meanwhile, the remaining Soul Reapers reach the castle, but Gerard stands in their way. They manage to knock him down and get past, but Gerard turns into a giant and overwhelms them. Inside the castle, Haschwalth decides to fight Uryu to try and prove that Uryu isn't a traitor. |

| Episode 39 Renji was dealt a damaging blow by Uryu, but thanks to the Visored Hachigen that he's all healed up and ready to fight back against Gerard. While Renji easily deals with him, Gerard talks as if he has something up his sleeve that could turn the battle around, and before he uses it Byakuya finishes him off. Elsewhere, Yoruichi deals with Askin, and her brother Yushiro joins the battle. And just when it looked like Gerard was finished off, Gerard still activates his power as the wounds he suffered in battle makes him huge. And while Yushiro thinks he has beaten Askin to a pulp, he activates his power that makes him immune to any attack he absorbed. And then Ichigo arrives to confront Uryu. Lots of battles going on, and even though the Soul Reapers dealt big blows, they were in for a huge surprise in the end. |
| Episode 40 To finish off the third of four parts, Ichigo and Uryu battle each other, and Jugo was right to suspect that Uryu was a traitor. Turns out Uryu orchestrated this battle knowing that Yhwach is asleep and that's the only time he's not in possession with The Almighty as he and Jugo have currently swapped powers. So Uryu tells Ichigo where he can find Yhwach to defeat him while he's the most vulnerable, and the unit led by Giselle had the same idea, but even in his state he deals with that unit without breaking a sweat. So it ends with the battles against Gerard and Askin still going on, while Uryu fights Jugo, and Ichigo is headed to confront Yhwach. And then afterwards it's an omake segment hosted by Askin. And with that, part 3 has wrapped up with one more to go with the title of the last part called the Calamity. Seeing that there's only two more volumes left after this that it figures to be a bit shorter than the previous three parts, but that means the battles are going to be drawn out. |
| Ichigo's group shows up next to Uryu, and the rematch begins while Ichigo is still demanding answers. Uryu finally divulges that he intends to stop Yhwach by himself, and Ichigo is furious that Uryu would not ask for his help. But Haschwalth soon arrives, and Uryu decides to face him while Ichigo heads to where Yhwach is to take him out while his and Haschwalth's powers are swapped. But it looks like it won't be as easy as it sounds, as Giselle and Bambietta's entourage had the same idea, but were taken down with little effort. Meanwhile, Yoruichi continues to face Askin, and Shinji and the Vizards make a stand against Gerard. Isshin and Ryuken have made their way to the Soul Society, and the fallout continues to rain down on the Seireitei. The last part of the series should arrive sometime within the upcoming year, and it promises to have more scenes that will flesh out the remaining battles. |

| THe last 5 minutes of episode 14 were a complete waste. I've found these last 2 seasons to be some of the weakest content in Bleach. 710 |
| Episode 13 (39) : as we're going back to a multi-fight episode, it's immediately slower and more laborious, the post-ending on the other hand 💜 Episode 13 (39) : well, we all knew he wasn't a traitor, but it's still nice to see. Yoruichi my goddess. I found the episode went by quickly, and then I saw the post-ending way too long and ridiculous. Overall: 8/10 |
