| OP and ED are heaters, songs and visuals for both are very very good, even if the ED is like a slideshow it still looked good lol. This is reminding me of another JC Staff show called “The Executioner and Her Way of Life” in the sense that they really care for this project, and JC Staff can cook when they care, very nice to see that here. And this episode was a cut above the first, get it because they had a sword fight lol. And the fight itself looked awesome, I’m surprised Oliver was able to keep up with Nanao but it was very badass, and the fact they were even intending to kill each other before the teacher stoped them, not sure how they disabled the spell on their weapons but damn that was intense. I will say tho, I’m not sure exactly why Nano was crying mid fight, was it because she’s found someone as strong as she is? I guess that would also explain why she was upset that Oliver didn’t want to fight her again, but I can see why Oliver would refuse too, no one needs to kill anyone no matter how good the fight was lol. The class bits were interesting too, if it didn’t feel like Harry Potter before, it really does now. And it was here we saw Katie’s philosophy in action, it’s very fascinating I gotta say, like she’s doing her absolute best to maintain her morals but is also finding out that this world isn’t gonna forgive that, she’s lucky as hell that she’s found friends that support her because I’m afraid she’d be cooked otherwise lol, I’m already starting to like her more tho after her introduction, so that’s good. And lastly, damn so this school transforms at night huh, and the upperclassman are out and about trying to fuck with their underclassman, this school is pretty insane lol, but it’s very cool tho, that Ophelia babe was especially eyecatching if you know what I mean lol, it’ll be interesting to see how they get out of this situation. |
