| With a nice homage to DragonBall, it was amusing to see the other girlfriends trying to act tsun in order to help out the stricken Karane. Thankfully it paid off and we have our Karane back to her proper tsun self. =) The last segment of the episode was the adaptation of that chapter the manga readers love so much and I can see why they do. It still had the usual 4th wall shattering since Meme and Mimimi were questioning if they should be there at all since the original chapter happened before they became Rentarou's girlfriends, which I found hilarious. Still, seeing all of them say "I love you" to Rentarou was very sweet, which neatly led to Rentarou's return of how much he loves them back, which ended up getting sped up by up to x512 or something like that while a wall of text was scrolling up in the background. The fact that the Blu-Ray release will have another version of this scene in unedited form makes me respect the VA's and anime staff even more. Overall, just like with season 1, this was hugely entertaining as always. Shizuka and Karane remain my two favourite girlfriends, but Iku is my favourite of the new ones introduced in this season. 8/10 is my final score and I do hope we get another season in the future. |
| Ms. Stacked Overflow is probably one of the best nicknames to come out of this show. Also, I could swear I saw a NLU reference. Even anime can't avoid dunking on Drake, I guess. I was a bit disappointed that they rushed his dialogue, but it seems the full version will come in the BD so that's a W. Anyways, Re: Zero gone, Severance gone and now this; with there being virtually no good show that I know of next season, it will have to fall to Apothecary Diaries to carry me through the next season. |

@ota92ppon Mate, it’s for giving the other characters something to do and helps add to, or bolsters, their dynamics within the group to prevent the audience from not getting over the conceit a large polygamous relationship.
At it’s most basic, then the series really would just fall victim to: meet a new girl, she meets the group with maybe one gimmick to spice things up, rinse and repeat. That’d get boring and wouldn’t satisfy the author’s artistic needs.

| @ota92ppon I’m not really sure why you’re looking for meaning. There is no greater meaning, the author and his series doesn’t hide that that it spams references everywhere. Think back to the Karaoke episode, for copyright reasons the anime blurred it out, but there is a very random sudden appearance of a Ghibli character. It’s far from a secret. If anything, either it’s just to show the characters are aware of anime and manga, rather than skirt around it (because let’s be real, what city dwelling adolescent isn’t aware of their countries manga and animation output these days), or it’s just tasteful that the author at leasts owns up to the series’ inspirations rather than hide it. At any rate, the whole characters-lined-up-cosplaying-DB was entirely anime only; plus, I mean, in a world post Toriyama’s death I should think it tasteful the show owned up to where the characters’ ludicrous idea was stolen from. |
| What an episode, what a finale lol this season/show just continues to genuinely get laughs out of me and this episode was no exception. So many references (wasn't expecting the mustard reference lmao) and just.... yes, very well done! I'll miss it but looking forward to whatever we get next! |

| Karane is back to her Tsundere self, and everything ends well for our adorable characters. Truly the peak of Harems. What a great show, and what an incredible MC we have in Rentaro. That iconic panel was also animated and Rentaro's VA did end up recording it all. LOL. What a GOAT. Can't wait for Season 3 someday in the future and meet more new girlfriends. |

| I loved this show. Although there were some cringe-worthy moments, the episodes were very funny in general, and most animes don't make that kind of effort. It was hilarious all the references to other anime and the fourth wall phrases used between characters. |

| Well I guess it's the usual "everyone loves everyone" statements at the end of the season. Nothing too exciting again. Once again it was a fine season... but that's about it. The quality and jokes bring it above average, but everything else is really pretty standard. 6/10 |

| That was a fun ride. I love how they're treating the fourth wall like they don't exist, and especially the dynamic between the girls. What a nice change of pace, just right after I finished Blue Box. Enjoyed this season more than the previous, and this is one of the very few harems I enjoy. 9/10. |

| Mimimi as OG Bulma is so peak. Someone please tell me there will be a cosplayer GF for Rentarou down the road. Because a full segment with the girls cosplaying as characters from other known anime would be cool asf, at least for me. And by the way, how come they showed Rentarou squeezing Hakari's melons but didn't even show a still-image of Hakari fondling Karane's karanes when they were bathing together last episode? Not gonna lie, still baffled they decided to take the safe route there. Excellent finale to conclude the season. They went far and beyond with the DBZ homage and I absolutely loved it lol. Good to see Rentarou and the girls managed to bring old Karane back... in the most over-the-top way possible, of course. Oh! And finally someone acknowledged the fact of Kurumi being another tsundere. Poor girl had to work overtime to cover the spot temporarily left by Karane lol. And Kusuri saying Kurumi's tsundere-ness wouldn't be affected because her predominant archetype is being a pekodere was plain hilarious xD And as for the second half, I gotta love how they went even more meta than usual and pointed out the discrepancy of having Mimimi and Meme in a scene that technically happens before their official debuts. Nano's mind being about to short-circuit at the realization was jokes, btw. And so, another hilarious season of 100 GFs comes to its end. Easily as entertaining as Season 1, if not a bit more. New GFs introduced continue to be as likeable as the already established ones, comedy as well as the skits were all amusing and production values kept the same level of consistency throughout the 12 episodes despite the supposed rumors of production problems when the season was just starting. 8/10 - Hoping for a Season 3 announcement soon. 89 Girlfriends left to go~ |

I do fear the thought of studios actually trying to get 100 girls into this rotation and having Rentaro not get a minute of sleep in an effort to give them all equal time. | Holy fuck they did the meme panel that blew up a while ago. That was amazing lmao. And props to crunchyroll for actually putting the massive blocks on translated text on screen for anyone that was crazy enough to pause and read it all. Just like season 1 it was a blast. Looking forward to the 3rd. |

| This show continued to excel in all the categories I already praised it in during season 1 and I could essentially copy my extensive review from that so I'll keep it short. The comedy got even better as the family grows. Whether it's Hide and Seek or Baby Transformations, the characters always make it insanely fun and you can tell how much the writer enjoys their characters in these situations! Besides that, there were also plenty of situations for wholesome stuff once again. My season favorite here was the family standing up for Shizuka during the baseball match. And Karane remains to be a very relatable character for me, so I logically enjoyed her arc very much. Fanservice contiues to serve. Soaked butler Rentarou lives in my head rent-free. 9/10. I even considered a 10/10, but the date with Mei and the introduction of Mimimi left something to be desired for me, so it's not quite the perfect score - yet. |
| "you caused all of this and still won't apologize for it" Lost it when i noticed the main cast suddenly cosplaying as Dragon Ball characters and later Rentaro straight up name-checking Goku and Genkidama (also Hakari tying up her own mother) Amusing how half the cast fails hard at acting tsundere-sque, but Rentaro entered into the act quickly. Yeah, midway through the episode, it seemed to have worked out a little too soon. "i almost risked to abruptly end the series in advance" NO WAY, are they extending the meta dialogue to the manga source too??????? Most of the girls speeches were sweet, and then Hakari revealed too much. By the way, Onizuka would be proud of Karane's move on Rentaro. "The real troubled people are the original author and the anime staff members". DEAD. Hahari... what are we even talking of at this point. Here it is... the moment i've alreay accidentally seen spoiled on the internet because i never wanted to end this series for it is so hilarious. Seriously, even after pausing the episode the italian subs never stopped scrolling. This is how you end out with a bang a 10/10 series. Afraid (a little less out of recency context) this is the last i'll see of this series especially since ... 89 more girlfriends, this is a rom-com and usually anime rom-coms get axed before the end way too often (looking at you, Komi Can't Communicate and Shikimori... yeah, still love you both and you are just two random examples). Still, if by some miracle a season 3 happens, i can still imagine the animated adaptation pull off a original ending, somehow, that will make me happy no matter what... yeah, it's because of shows like this that there is no turning back from anime and Japan for someone like me. Thank you to all involved, hopefully we'll see each other again. |

| Nice episodes with the best girl Karane, but overall it is just a show to kill time can't give it more than 7. The comedy part with references to other animes is also not always funny even if I know the anime. |

| This Rentaro Chad is one heck of a lover. He loves his girlfriends so passionately, & we surely are proud of him 😂. That legend script in the background at the end 😂 was totally mind-blowing 🤩. (will get that script for sure in the BD Orders). Really overally enjoyed Season 2 a lot. Hoping for Season 3 production at the earliest with great animation. Score 7/10 at MAL. Finished it on 18th May 2025 at 22:05 Hrs IST.  |

| This show is so ridiculous and over the top but still never fails to entertain. Kinda reminds me of the Kanojo mo Kanojo anime with the absurd plot but hilarious jokes. While season 2 of that series was kind of a downgrade imo, the S2 of Hyakkano is even better than S1 in terms of comedic timing with countless references and crazy plot. Good to know that the author, like many of us, enjoyed watching DBZ during their childhood lol. I tried reading the manga of this series a long time ago but got bored pretty fast due to repetitive nature of the plot. But as an anime with cute visuals, sound effects and crazy good voice acting, this turned out to be one of the better rom-coms I've watched in a while. |

| 10/10 MAN STRAIGHT UP TEN OUT OF TEN I FUCKING LOVE THIS SERIES MAN this was a great season and I loved every second of this show man it’s gotta be the best parody harem romcoms ever made man😩🥹🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️ The season has ended and I loved this episode a lot and we got the iconic panel animated with Rentarou saying how much he loves his girlfriends I love the Dragon Ball reference we got in this episode, Majin Karane was a sight to behold I can’t lie, like this gotta be like the second time we got one in this season haha nothing beating this show and it’s references other than Witch Watch tbh😭😭😭🤣 All the girls saying they love Rentarou was just so heartwarming and cute man they’re all so sweet and kind but this one girl who was cutest imo was Kusuri SHE’S SO GODDAMN ADORABLE AND CUTE MAN I WISH I HAD A GIRLFRIEND LIKE HER BRO HER FACE WAS SO CUTE WHEN SHE WAS SAYING I LOVE YOU TO RENTAROU😭🥹🥹🥹🥹 I’m sadden we didn’t get a sneak peak at the next batch of girlfriends but it’s fine bc that lowkey leaves room to be surprised when s3 drops, but guys we gotta prepare for the first new girlfriend of the series, ppl to get outraged and shit on this series when my girl Chiyo gets introduced😭😭😭 Anyways this is a 10/10 for me man i throughly enjoyed this anime from start to finish and was laughing and giggling my ass off at the jokes and the absurdity of this the jokes that Hahari or Hakari would say, if you’re reading this definitely give this a watch fr🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏽🤗      |
