Well, well. So Miko is another "illegal alien". Lucky for her she doesn't live in the US. It still felt contrived that Miko's disguise disappeared just because Shiori pointed out the weakness in her identity.
I guess it would be too much of a stretch for Hinako to think, "Hinako has always been good to me. whatever she is. "

@Dreadogastus_F I think it was less that her disguise disappeared and more that Miko dropped it intentionally because she realized the jig was up

What in the cinema just occurred 😭
First off, music was amazing in those confrontation scenes. The reveal was definitely a surprise although arguably there were hints in the OP, but still that's such a c’imactic ending - hopefully they'll manage to settle on their differences 🙏

Fantastic episode! The entire thing was so engrossing, so filled with tension; I had a great time watching it! The confrontation between Miko and Shiori at the beginning was brilliantly handled. I also really enjoyed the final section which showcased Hinako and Miko's past.

Miko is such an interesting character; I'm glad I was right about her being a yokai! A kitsune was one of my theories, and it appears to be correct.

Also, the ED was super fun! The music in this show is always so good!

Wow okay very good plot twist about Miko I didn't expect her to not be human and to have implanted memories with Hinako, but at least she doesn't seem like a villain

Hinako has a bad case of Takemichi syndrome. The scene where Shiori was revealing the student register was rough. Hinako's reaction after the explosion especially is awful. I can't tell if I dislike the voice actor's voice or if it's just the show's dialogue having Hinako ask a question every 5 seconds which makes her sound like an idiot.

Also, why does any of that matter? Who cares if Miko is a yokai? Shiori herself knows that Miko has been protecting Hinako from other yokai for a very long time. Why is this even a conflict? Shiori is likely doing the exact same thing with the spells! And Shiori is also friends with Miko and is a yokai so? Why can't Miko??

If the yokai Miko that we see now is impersonating a real human being that was actually friends with Miko than obviously there would be a problem with that but it's not the case at all. The only problem that could arise from this is if Miko also wants to eat Hinako but if not then this was all entirely pointless.

Miko may not be human, but whatever drives her feels a lot more genuine than Shiori’s urge to devour her.
