| Watching this for the first time. Just recognised something from the first episode in Gurren Lagann, I believe - where he jumps up, slices a mech in half, lands, and it explodes behind him in mid air. I'm 90% sure I've seen that in Gurren Lagann, so it's cool to see what the reference was to! Or I'm making it up and misremembering haha. Good stuff so far. |
