| Hey i just glad that some of pirates girl are there. Really happy with that. For anyone that complain about this series regarding the plot, hey.... this particular conclusion should be your expectation because this series is ONLY ONE COUR. I believe this is will 100 times better with 2 cour style, but this is the risk for being original series and i'm experieced this kind of stuff kinda everytime with original series that have JUST 1 cour. 7-8/10 for enjoyement |

| I'm not sure why this was on my watch list. I suppose it was during a boredom period or something and forgot it completely. What in the hell did I just watch? Ship destroyed, kid lost, grows up, escapes from getting help of two guys without any relevance, joins a bunch of guys without any relevance, goes into a journey without any relevance with a 3x4 transparent glass bullshit no one says where it came from, why it was made, to be used on a zodiac disk no one knows what it was built for, or why it was there. The disk even managed to swap leo/virgo order in case no one noticed during the show:  This would be sufficient to fizz any ritual bullshit, explode the entire cave and end the series there. Then empowered female pirates came from nowehere, kidnap girl, took her to maddened painter-turned-navy highofficer-somehow, proceeds to die for stupidity, irrelevant ninja boy saves girl, irrelevant sidekicks save both, then series drops the quest where the possibly strongest fighter is going to kill them all for treason. Girl remebers some garbage she never learned in first place because it's all bullshit from lost generations, go to hidden island with entrance to godland, ninja boy fights and loses to maddened painter-turned-navy highofficer-somehow, painter finds ghost of his true love and dies because I don't know, plot. The severed arm, maybe, but then he would have failed on his mission. Funny this is the only guy who managed to complete his goals in the entire series. The maddened painter. Then deus ex machina ensues, girl is actually the world's arbiter and can choose between erasing everything or keep everything as it is because, you know, it's already great enough one single person can decide fate, but it's even greater when said person is a teen girl who was kept into a whorehouse for all her life after the ship accident. Then she chooses to maintain everything because of course, then loses her memories, get a new hair, and rememebrs every shit. And from what I understood, her offspring is the next generation of this bullshit. So, best outcome would be she ended up dead. God damn |

| Mary's alive! Now Humanity has a chance! lol I think the biggest issue I have is with Fena's dark hair. What? Why? Bring Fena's wonderful blond hair back! The mystical part I get and from what I understand Fena ended up taking a "third" option. I'd like to comment on that. There is a part of the plot dealing with hereditary line of priestess, which I don't like, because it's not about blood. Humans are part animals, so they have hereditary traits, but priestessing is a spiritual occupation, which is not hereditary. And the word is incorrect, since a priest is a religious figure. You can be an atheist priest, but you can't do what Fena is supposed to do without qualities unrelated to priesthood. And the English doesn't have the right word (since English is the language of bandits, not philosophers). Russian has the right one and it relates to someone who speaks for the life, to facilitate the life, making choices also clear, what is expected of Fena here. Fena's "guides", however, turned to be liars. Was it by design? Was the writer good enough to include such satanic piece of treachery here? I doubt it. It happened accidently most likely. So, Fena was given two choices, both of which were bad. That's pretty brilliant, actually. Not making a choice, being passive, only leads to you losing everything (everyone) you love. And "reseting" the world solves nothing, because it is bound to repeat again. No wonder Fena can't chose. Neither should we. I am a serious practitoner of the occult as well as more science friendly practices, and can tell you that if someone shows you the options and tells you to make a choice between two evils, you better make up the third option while completely disregarding the movies you'd been shown, because they are a lie fabricated to manipulate you into making a mistake. In short, never chose between two evils. It's unbecomming of a human. You must always look to make things better than they would be by themselves. That is not a cliche, it's something worth reminding of over and over. And for that I rate Fena no lower that 6/10. Fortunately, her pure (and selfish) heart ended up creating a happy ending for us. Am I dissapointed? Not by that, not really. I don't dislike happy endings. If it's a world Fena got to create, at least it has something for everyone. Some may say that the best ending should be earned, but I would say that hardship and drama should not be mandatory. It's an art to make bitter-sweet feeling without tragedy and loss. I got to wonder if we actually saw familiar characters in the end, or someone who was LIKE them? Maybe they don't make such distinction here, since in the West it's all about personality and in the East you got to reincarnate and your personal issues don't count as real anyway. So someone else got to be happy instead of those who died horribly, idk. And while I wouldn't call this series bad exactly, neither is it good. It introduced a lot of things, but ended up using very little, and most of it for emotions sake. It all may be fine from a female perspective, but I don't think it's okay to drop logic just because it's shoujo. If you want to make it shoujo, just FOCUS on the things girls like, don't bend reality itself over it. And of course, not in any sense is Fena a pirate. So they lied to us. Or was Kaizoku Oujo about Mary, the secret protagonist of the series? Will we ever know? |
