Idk I feel very bored when there's not an action sequence going on, production is fantastic but I don't really care about the characters nor plot so far and was hoping it would get a bit more fleshed out.

No, he is in fact being sarcastic. Dude acts like this on every thread of this anime. He's already made this show his entire personality.

The visuals are too busy and have too much contrast making it hard to focus on what's happening during the battle scenes.

Teoritta is a terrible character. Tatsuyta isn't a character, he's an object - an automated weapon.

Trying to play the next mission for the MC as a super-serious suicide mission in episode 2 when everyone knows he's obviously going to make it through because otherwise the story would end too early is not compelling.

That said, the main story arc seems pretty interesting as does the story world, so it's worth seeing a bit more to see if there's something more than a flashy presentation here for us.

I'm not sure which scene you're referring to, but if it's the scene I'm thinking of, then you're mistaken because there's no 3D in that scene, but rather motion rotoscoping, which is why it's so fluid.

@Desmascarado i see.... i havent seen it in a while. Last time i saw an anime using rotoscoping was perhaps in kizumonogatari.

I hope this is not the case, but the big cinematic episode 1 feels like bait and the rest of the series will be closer episode 2 in terms of quality.

@ChickenDan I feel the same. Lot of still frame, just like an average battle shounen. Art is great, but there's no choreography, just visuals during fights.
