Poor Haruka I totally understand her... but wow, didn't expect the producer to fall into that hole and be severely wounded?? WTF how dangerous is this stage

Wasn't expecting the Producer to fall. I'm guessing this is gonna be the anime's turning point into something darker? Like, the president on a rival idol group actively sabotaging 765PRO definitely adds stake. But in my opinion, idol-on-idol fighting feels much more serious than the aforementioned. The next episode's gonna have more drama, but I don't think it's gonna get too dark. The anime so far has been rather light-hearted.

Miki came off as kinda annoying. Although I don't mind it that much considering everyone else is nice to Haruka. Realistically speaking, Miki is still considered on the nice side. But I mean, the anime's not meant to be a true-to-life documentary of the idol industry. So Miki's actions being depicted as a point of conflict as opposed to a natural part of being an idol makes sense.

Yeah, I feel bad for Haruka. At the same time she shouldn't have been too clumsy. Poor Producer.

Still too early to say if the Producer falling felt like artificially inflated drama. I thought Haruka's gonna cry in a few scenes, so she's much tougher than she seems. But that got me thinking if she cried the episode would've been much more dramatic so the writers omitted it and went straight for the Producer falling as a big drama moment.

I don't exactly agree with people saying that Haruka's selfish for wanting to hang out with her fellow idols. Yeah, I guess it's "selfish" for extraverts to wanna hang out with their friends 'cause that's where they derive happiness from. But at that point then everyone's selfish and the word loses some of its meaning. So far, Haruka's been mature about it, and I don't think she has any ulterior motives. And I say this as someone whose favourite character's not even her. Lol.

But yeah, makes me rather excited for the next episode. Normally I just casually watch this show.
