| It's nice to see Kirishima's backstory. We get to see him overcoming his insecurities because he lacked self-confidence and bravery before. We also get to see Ashido in the flashback because she used to be Kirishima's schoolmate in middle school. Fat Gum's transformation at the last scene is so surprising - with his abs and handsome face. |

| So this is why Fat Gum is a pro hero!!! That was really awesome. So Kirishima wasn't that strong earlier. He used to look like Sero, like a twin brother. Ashido and Kirishima were in the same school also. However Crimson Riot changed his life somehow. This time he was saved by his spirit and Fat Gum's ultimate move. Deku isn't showing any kind of hero thing. I thought he would save Erasurehead with his super speed but Kirishima was advanced than him. Hope for the next time from the would be symbol of peace. I hope Amajiki is safe. He has a lot to do in future. |

| Tbh the fight was a bit boring for me, but knowing how Fatgum's ability works, it makes sense now. Truly a oneshot-counter ability. I also did not know that we were shipping Kirishima with Mina, but I don't mind, they are a cute pair :3 |
| "In this spear and shield battle...we're the winners"~ Fat Gum Kirishima may have been weak and scared back in middle school but now he's changed so much.....I frikin love his character :) That smile tho :) Overall a pretty good episode....Looking forward to the next one :D |

| This season or this arc at least is certainly Kirishima's moment to shine. I hope Fat Gum does take him to be his sidekick somewhere down the line, they really have a great dynamic going between them |

| Now it was time for Kirishima's episode. This anime truly portrayed each student at U.A. Everyone began at zero, believing they were weak, but they were not. They simply lack training. BUT LOOK AT THE LAST SCENE: FAT GUM LOOKS HOT! The opposite of One for All, from a bodybuilder to a thin and malnourished-looking body when exhausted. Lol! |

| Kirishima's backstory was pretty good. The Spear Rappa and the Shield Tengai were threatening but ultimately no match for Fat Gum and Red Riot! |

| Really ... Red is having a broken spirit flash back at this time, while his hero manager is being pulverized? Doesn't he know that Bakugou would kick his butt for acting like this and giving up? Come on, Red was making all kinds of progress and the writers made him take 10 steps back in this episode. Midoriya would have already thrown his own body in the way, Red knows that. He doesn't need some lame flash back to inspire him, he has his buddies to do that already. Talk about nerfing your major players in these episodes, this is lame. |
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating. |
