| i said this before, but this is a story about falling in love and it's good if you see it as just that. this last episode was really sweet and tied many loose ends. it does leave us wanting more, but if we don't get another season, it's well rounded, you know? and i like how their story developed. it's about becoming better people after meeting each other, it's about finding the person that makes you feel safe and comfortable, it's about that person that helps you learn more about yourself. i actually do get tsubaki because she had this in yamada, but he didn't get the same experience in her. but, being just that, i see this anime as a really good teaser for the manga, because you almost need to know what happens later, how they're gonna be as a couple, how their friends are gonna interact with them as a couple, what will happen to all the other characters and so on. i'm hoping for another season because, if i'm honest, i can't follow ongoing manga if my life depended on it and if it ends here, i loved it, but i'm sad to say, this will probably be forgettable. |

| It takes a great courage to confess love to someone. Glad Yamada was straightforward to Tsubaki so she can move on from her feelings. I would like it more if Akane saved her question when she was sober, but at least it gave her courage/push to ask what was on her mind for so long and they finally ended up together. |
| This had me smiling the whole way through. It had a knockout dub too. That made the subtly real. Elevating the over quality factor. I don't believe it would've been an 8/10. Without the dub. Some things are just more parsable in your native language. Romance is one of them. |

I think the story was a bit too rushed the last 3 episodes, but the ending was fine
| @GTGin Agreed that the pace of the last few episodes is really fast but it seems intentional. Having a long drawn out build up to a confession scene feels like the norm in romcom, so the way they quickly get together once Yamada realizes he is in love is refreshing. Too many series get stuck on the will-they-wont-they even when the feelings are mutual. |
| Loved it. Yamada was great male character. Mc and fmc are together, good to see it. |

| They just threw that last part just so Akane doesn't come out like some college weirdo that's dating a teenager? lol this would've been much better off being a normal highschool romance, it has the same clichés anyway |
| Honestly, I had higher expectations, and I don't think they were delivered, but I still think the anime is a good watch. |

| I think the ending was too weak, but maybe weak/normal is also good? Overall anime was good, some funny moments, it was interesting in few parts, but still it was not good enough for me, so 7/10. Maybe this weak ending ruined everything? The drama with Yukari was good, but the story focused on her too much and made the main pair too weak. |

| Akane is amusing drunk That was a decent ending. I think the show was cute but that's about it. I didn't feel moved enough by the romance as I would have liked. |
