Although more run time could've helped the pacing, this story is still beautiful in its execution and I felt it's message was conveyed quite well. This anime excellently captures that feeling of returning home.

It took a while to realize what was happening in the second half of the show, but I think I get it now.

Unfortunately the lesson I took in was Euthania seems to be a better place than Earth. Except for the festival. And for An. Idk why Daichi encouraged her to leave, according to what she said at about 12:47. But with Daichi he really wanted to leave and found his home, and with Rin her magic interfered with her work so she went back home. No wonder there isn’t more intermingling, Earth sucks lol.

I know it says there’s some Southeast Asian mythology fused in the world of Euthania, but I unfortunately don’t know anything about it so I’m watching the bts documentary Gigguk uploaded a few days ago to get more sense of it.

Speaking of Gigguk, I do want to say congratulations to him on making this anime a reality. I’ve seen other YouTubers try and fail at making their own, and I think this is the first successful attempt. And you know, I don’t think it’s half-bad. So good for him.

Let me start off by saying congratulations for Gigguk. It's genuinely insane that an anime YouTuber got to make an actual anime.
But now let's be honest. This "movie" was just plain bad. The animation is average at best and for the current day and age honestly just bad. The runtime doesn't help anything either. It's shorter than a single episode of anime and is supposed to tell a complete story. So what is the story? Idek. It's too short for anything to actually be explained and any characters to have actual depth. It felt more like a low quality pilot for a random 12 episode anime rather than an actual movie.
4/10.
Congrats Garnt but this wasn't it. (in my opinion)
