| This episode was the first time where I felt like I started to enjoy the series less overall. I understand the point of this series is more about the personal growth you experience through everyday interactions and reflecting on past moments to help navigate similar unfolding situations rather than the action. A slice of life anime with a sprinkle of action. But the problem I am having is the stakes for this series are so far off in the distance, and with such a small episode count for this season, why did we need this episode? A personal preference I suppose, but these side stories with Fern and Stark, and Frieren being comedic relief, are very boring. Striking animation at some points though. |
| Kind of makes you wonder what Himmel/Heiter/Eisen did to get Frieren to throw a tantrum. Was it really as simple as them calling her old 3 times, or was it a different set of circumstances? |

| @TheCommoner Frieren has mostly followed the formula "1 arc of goofying around, 1 arc of serious stuff". At this point you should know what you're getting into. I do feel bummed that we're obviously not going to get the -centered arc. |

| more nostalgia and remembering the things that last another episode that follows old memories by creating new ones especially the scene where they sat together on the top of the mountain, makes me want to enjoy my own life |

| I held off on assigning a numerical score to this season, but after this episode, I'm pretty sure of where it stands. People keep giving the ED cred for being beautiful and hand-drawn, but it's the OP that moves me just about every time I watch it. Frieren's themes of connecting to the past and using it to make sense of the present hits me every fucking time. The scene at the footbath where Stark admits to just wanting to see the same view that his master did had me almost in tears. And the scene where Frieren credits Heiter for her knowledge of Fern's preferences really did me in. Wonderful stuff. As fun the battles can be, I hope this season has nothing like the weird contest of Season 1. I despised how much room it gave the show to start "tell don't show"-ing all over the place. I much prefer the quieter moments that give me space as a viewer to connect the dots myself, without some side character I don't care about waxing poetic about the name of their spells. |

| I adore how this time it was Stark remembering his master, what he told him, instead of Frieren yapping about Himmel again, we should see more episodes like this one, were Stark or Fern are the ones leading an adventure for their masters. Fern really is in love with Stark, and this episode proved it, we can see by her "cold" reaction that she was incredibly happy lol, so cute. I also like that, considering what Frieren told Fern about dates, she literally took Stark on a date to give him advice, bro literally had a date with his grandma 😂 Man, this show is just the best ❤️. To think there are people in this world that go to sleep hatting on this is absolutely insane. |

| Hot springs. They went looking for a certain place, but it was no longer there. However, there was another one nearby: The hidden hot springs of Etwas. You could only soak your feet, but it was worth it. It had a very nice view. The hard part was getting there...and also getting back xd Now they are in a city with hot springs. Frieren is busy, while Stark and Fern are free. Stark asked her out on a date... things are going to get interesting. He asked Frieren for advice, his last resort xD And through all this, we see that Frieren can throw a tantrum...and that she can be scary hahaha. Frieren gave him some good ideas for the date, so everything is fine. Fern is thinking. Let's see what happens, good chapter. Here, many images xd   |

| The reason hot springs appear in isekai stories is not only because the original authors are Japanese, but also because Japanese people, regardless of age or gender, simply like hot springs. Incidentally, FERN tends not to speak her true feelings much but when she does speak honestly, she becomes flustered by the unexpected “Takagi-san Counterbacks.” This work is packed with such comedic elements, so it never gets boring.
