Scene with girls in miko outfits was precious, Leskinen's reactions were pure gold as always lol.

This kind of cliffhanger was bound to happen eventually... It's been too peaceful for them lately.

That ending... Gave me goosebumps.

And I almost cried for Rintarou. He's fought so hard to prevent this from happening, giving himself PTSD in the process, and it still comes back to haunt him :((

I find very frustrating that Okarin has stuck to his original Steins;Gate pattern : he doesn't talk to anyone about anything or anyone that might put them in danger until it is too late, and often not even then. It is like he incapable of learning from his mistakes. Why on Earth would he not warn Daru and Suzuha about Kiryuu Moeka and why, to add insult to injury, would he start trusting her and believing what she said about that "other group looking for Shiina Kagari"?

I thought it was not just obvious but transparent that Moeka approached Daru in order to find Shiina Kagari, since she was working for that supposed "other group" (SERN) all along and Okarin bloody knows that. Moeka has been working for FB and SERN since 2006 when she almost jumped from that roof, and the divergence point that generated the current world line only happened in 2010, in August (~4 months ago). Before that divergence point these two world lines were one, the one with Moeka and Mr Braun working for SERN, and since then very things must have changed.

Bizarrely Okarin even let Moeka know that they found Kagari, effectively inviting her and her group to (again) raid them in order to take Kagari (I can see no other reason, at the moment, for that raid). I am very disappointed in Okarin. I wonder if his extreme stupidity and naivety are supposed to represent that he has started to lose his mind; though that would be a very weird way to show that..

lol it seems like FB and the Rounders are still a thing in this world line, or something like that

The guys talking with Kurisu, even if is just an IA and they never actually met her, was such a wholesome moment.

Not AGAIN GODDAMIT. Are they from FB? Is Moeka still a bitch that follows people? Well it was such a lively and wholesome episode, shrine visits, funny jokes with the professor but it ends up in the worst way possible. People with guns storm in Okabe's LAB AGAIN..

I like how they represent the correlation between the cast on Beta worldlines and the Alpha one, recalled bittersweet remembrances and stand as a motivation for Okabe to move on.

The cliffhanger in the ending got me startled instantly, I've been worried about the slowish pacing and the lack of dramatic plot and intensity factorial, finally some interesting turning points. I have strong suspicion toward Leskinen and the psychology woman but maybe Moeka and Mr. Braun still keep their roles regardless the change of worldlines although that may put his daughter into dangerous situations.

Obviously the American guy is up to something. But I guess the other professor friend is too probably. Maybe it's just the whole lab/group and they keeping maho in the dark. Unsure about Mr Braun and moeka still. Two separate factions? I can't see him calling a hit with his daughter in the same room.

But the timelines ARE gonna be similar if nothing changes. Okabe just keeps telling himself otherwise

Been watching the series for the first time in the correct order. Which means I completed the 22 episodes of the 2010 anime, watched the alternate episode 23 missing link to start steins gate 0.

With all of the information I have at this point in the story, I made a theory about Kurisu. It is probably false but I will leave this comment as a memory of what I could be thinking about when I first watched Steins.
We know Alpha Kurisu (from the 2010 anime) is hated by Suzuha for joining the SERN in the future. Also, there is a detal I picked up during the first episodes Suzuha somehow freaks out at the possibility of being "brainwashed" and looks for a chip in Okabe's eye.
In the Steins0 timeline Kurisu dies at 17 which means she never became an agent for the SERN and Suzuha never got to meet her. But she time traveled with the girl that is the spitting image of Kurisu. This girl has amnesia and is said to be Mayuri's daughter. However it seems that she did not loose her emotional connection with her mother even though she lost all of her memories.

What is Kurisu's research all about, again? Brain science and memory storage. Hear me out. I think this "Shiina Kagari" is actually the Kurisu that fell in love with Okabe, got to stay alive. She had to let him go for the world where she did not survive in order to save Mayuri so his sacrifices weren't in vain.

Now there are way too many elements for it to be just a coincidence. In the first timeline/world where Kurisu survives her and Mayuri are linked through death (its either one dies or the other). Either world alpha ot beta is described as a parrallel line to the other, meaning those are like the two faces of a coin.
The opposite of death is birth. If my theory is correct, it falls perfectly that Shiina(Kurisu) and Mayuri are always linked whatever world they are in, but the effects are simply reversed. If in the first one they were linked through death, they are now linked through birth, Mayuri being (Shiina)Kurisu's mother. Its not a coincidence either the alternate episode 23 is called "missing link".

I think Alpha Kurisu joined the SERN after Okabe left so she could find a way to link alpha and beta. And the link between those two are emotional bonds between people that can be achieved through memories. She probably got brainwashed by the SERN and lost her memories too but her feelings for Okabe never left. I think Kurisu has been timetravelling even before Okabe gained his own time-traveling memories.

Now who, in everything I have watched so far, which characters have unusual memories? Okabe, who keeps all of his memories, and Shiina who I believe is Kurisu, who lost all of them. Again, opposites that attract eachother regardless of timelines.

I think Shiina's and Okabe's memory disorders are linked to Kurusu's research. Okabe could even be a human experiment of time-leap without knowing. And if Shiina is Kurusu, it would perfectly make sense that Kurusu's field of research was about memory storage, since said "Shiina" lost her memories but not her bonds, her "links". Kurusu could have been time traveling and researching memories more and more in order to gain back what shes missing in order to be reunited with the "Original Okabe". Think about the scene where Okabe dreams of him and Mayuri set so far away in the past billions of years before humans existed. The "missing link" is between Okabe, Kurusu, and Mayuri.

Now how long Kurusu's and Okabe's story has been unfolding really? How could Kurusu's promise of always being there for Okabe bend the laws of the universe? What is the involvment of the SERN? And who has been brainwashed, in which world/timeline? Guess I gotta continue watching in the correct order to learn the truth.

This is actually the WRONG way to watch this. You are supposed to finish Steins;Gate completely before starting 0. 0 was made in a way that you already now how Steins;Gate ends, that how the impactful moments really working in 0. Also, 0 basically spoils the ending of Steins;Gate

Your theory makes absolutely no sense by the way (no, this isn't a spoiler) "Shiina" who is actually called Kagari (Shiina is just Mayuri's last name) just an adopted daughter of Mayuri. There is no connection "through birth" or whatever you are trying to explain. She is not Kurisu. Kurisu is literally f*cking dead if you didn't realize already.

Regarding the watching order I actually looked it up and many people recommended this. It may be the wrong way to watch it but Ill complete it this way since Ive already started

About my theory....of course this isnt correct I just went nuts because the number of possibilities is fascinating. Thanks for correcting me though. I think I will have a good laugh when I will go back to my nonsense after I complete the series xD
