I am so hyped about this movie and I’m glad I took the time to see it in its entirety. We learn more about Uta’s departure from the crew and what really happened to the people of Elegia.

However, WHO THE FUCK DOES UTA THINK SHE IS BY ATTACKING LUFFY IN SUCH A WAY?! HOW DARE SHE DO THIS TO THE FIFTH EMPEROR. SPEAKING OF, I GEEKED OUT WHEN I HEARD THE CROWD REFER TO HER IN THIS WAY! JUST UTTER BADASSERY FROM YOURS TRULY!

I wonder if we’ll see Uta again in any future One Piece episodes and I’m honestly shocked we got to see Gear 5 (this movie came out before it so that’s a shocker). I’m surprised that Kid wasn’t present in the movie at all. I’m glad we got to see so many familiar faces, such as Law, Bartolomeo, Koby, Helmeppo, Fujitora just to name a few.

The power of music against the power of Luffy’s badassery was a sight to see. This movie is so amazing that I’m at a loss for words and can’t fully articulate just how amazed I am by it.

One thing I gotta mention is how much Uta was tweaking through the majority of the movie by trying to force everyone to live in her ideal world, and by doing the unthinkable, TAKING LUFFY’S STRAW HAT! NOBODY TOUCHES THAT OR TRIES TO TELL LUFFY TO GIVE UP BEING THE KING OF THE PIRATES!

So many emotions…

Sorry the movie was terrible . People didn't come here to see La La Land but to see a normal One Piece movie . This should have been an One Piece film with some non canon elements (in this case the singing) not a non canon elements movie with some One Piece references. The only reason this was successful, is because of the influence of the One Piece franchise and this comes from a big fan of the franchise . Not mention the elements that are still not in the anime for someone who watch this movie chronologically after episode 1030 of the main series and I don't understand how someone who is one piece fan and not a a tourist can call this movie peak.

A really nice movie! even in 2024 Uta seems to be a popular character despite not being canon!

This wasn't a bad movie by any means, but the whole lore behind the Demon King seemed very out of place and I can understand why some people think Film: Red was soulless.

I guess I was expecting more. The story was super simple, Uta as a villain with her magical powers to overwhelm the characters that we have seen growing in power. It just was off to me, not emotional. Shanks was ok, but it's no canon, I cannot take anything.

It was boring and repetitive.

I went into the movie with only having seen like the first 300 Episodes of the anime and just basic knowledge of the full cast of the anime and i think lore wise this is fine to be able to grasp most of the movie easily.
Nevertheless watching the movie was really hard to watch. The cast of characters was reduced down to their most basic attributes without any depth or developement.
The animations were fine to good during the normal movie scenes, but especially during the music bits the cheap looking CGI really hurt the aesthetic of the otherwise quite good visual represenation of the singing.
The music and singing were phenominal but having this hard of a cut between the voiceacting and the singing both volume wise and just the voice itself is really jarring.
The plot is extremely basic and shallow and at any point you know whats going to happen since it's so clichee - but I am probalby just not the target audience for that.
Bad movie with a great soundtrack.

3D stuff actually looks a little goofy
0:21:00 ain't no way Luffy would eat that slowly he could have swallowed the whole plate in one go, fake movie. XD (little did I know it was actually all fake and in Uta's head)
Now when they were kids it kind of makes sense because he wouldn't have the devil fruit yet and he's stupid enough to accept the drink. But We've literally seen Luffy swallow like ridicilous amounts of food in one go with the Devil Fruit so there's just no way.
LMAO this child having the voice of a grown ass woman when singing is hilarious.
I'm actually more fine with them being taken out by her powers even though that was equally kind of BS but at least it's not like they even tried to use Haki or anything.
Ain't no way luffy getting beat by some chucklefucks with buckets of water though tf lol.
So far Law has literally been the only useful person. That's crazy. Luffy just let his hat get yoinked like that without even really trying to get it back.
Again Fujitora is like not even trying here. He could easily just push everyone to the ground without really harming them.
Alright the explanation makes enough sense though it doesn't make sense that he death would keep them trapped imo.
New Genesis more like New Genocide literally killing people with TV all over the globe lol

Usopp connecting with his dad is wild despite barely seeing him his whole life. Though I do appreciate acknowledging how Usopp has absolutely Goated Observation Haki.
Yeah I dunno I'm pretty mixed on the whole thing.
Also she threw away the cure for no reason she could have just taken it after saving everyone instead she just decided to die singing.
Also kind of weird how the credits expect us to celebrate her saving the people she put in danger in the first place like it's some heroic move.

Wow, What a Movie!!
I wish i was able to watch this movie in the Cinema with all Nakamas back in 2022.

My god, Ado performance as Uta is just Phenomenal.
Her singing was PEAK!!

I really enjoyed Shanks and Uta relationship in this movie.

is that a new tease of Luffy new Transformation during the Final Attack? They actually showing us Gear 5 here before it happen in the Anime? INSANE!!

9/10 for me.

I will definitely adding all Ado-Uta song into my playlist.
