| Flamme really did have an impact on the human civilization, being able to bring magic to humanity, that was certainly important. The way that the elf said that Frieren would either be killed by the Demon King or by a human mage, and then cutting out to Fern killing Frieren's clone (I suppose) was chilling honestly. Another great episode, I'm really enjoying this 2nd test a lot more than the 1st one. And once again, we see the disparity between the human life and the elf life, that is much longer. Honestly, don't have much more to say than this was another wholesome action-packed episode, with also some more sentimental moments. This is getting really exciting! I wonder though, with only 3 episodes left, will they be able to adapt the rest of the exam? We still have one test to take, and this one isn't quite over I suppose, so will they be able to end it by the 28th episode? Anyways, I really can't believe there are only 3 episodes left! The episodes just have been so quick to watch, and then I'll be in a Frieren drought! I really hope that the 2nd season comes soon! Such an amazing anime, certainly in my Top 5 animes ever! |

| Oh god I can't wait til this is over. Sitting around and talking, walking and talking, and all the talk is uninteresting pith. This wise elf living book or whatever she is, drops the epic line: "Human civilization will continue to progress from this point at an increasing rate." Wowwww. Really. And from what we can see here, in a thousand years it has progressed to the point of still not having use of the WHEEL. At that rate of progress, I suppose they'll discover dry gunpoweder in another 15,000 or so... That length of time is what I sense has passed me by watching this anime. |

| That's actually a super novel concept. Because Elves (atleast as old as Frieren) perceive time in different ways, it makes sense that their ability to adapt to the rapid change of Humanity and their advancements would struggle to keep up. It's not that Freiren is stuck in her ways, it's that, despite her skill and power as a mage, the world is moving too quickly for an Elf's perception of time, leading to a discrepancy in her ability to defend against newer techniques. That's in contrast to Humans who are uniquely adapted to... well... adapting to change. Serie may seem cold and only cares for conflict, but Flamme clearly left a mark in her memories as she ended up fulfilling Flamme's last will. |

| Aaaah, the fight between Frieren and Frieren was amazing! On one hand I'd like something more complicated, but on the other, it's natural that most things are decided on small details and not overcomplicated things. Great episode! |

| AWESOME!! That last walk that Serie asked Freiren to accompany was nothing less than a way for her (Serie) to remember and mourn her old student, Flamme. From the way that Flamme was as a child, to her favorite spell, her dreams, and her feats, Serie praised her in all by remembering it to Freiren, that she could never be able to know if not by this way. This anime has an amazing way of characterizing elves, so subtle yet so complex. It's like it really does understand how immortal beings should be if they lived on a planet along with mortals. |
| For the ones that like to bother others (like me) with "you should read the manga/LN", please stop. I don't read mangas, I will NOT read mangas, I will not listen to what manga readers complain in adaptation to the anime counterpart, I only watch anime except in very few and specific situations. |

| Almost everyone except Ubel and Land have gathered. It's unknown if Blei has survived or escaped Sense's replica. They strategize to see how they could defeat the Frieren replica, but it turns out Frieren has a fatal flaw. She drops her mana for a split second when she casts a spell, something even a novice knows how to correct. So, it's decided that Frieren and Fern fight the replica alone. During this time, Frieren remembers her past with her party in dungeons (she's pretty much the world's greatest expert on dungeons now), as well as her time with Serie after Flamme died. At the very end, it looks like Fern destroys the Frieren replica. This episode showed just how intense a battle between two Frierens can be. Incredibly well done and very colourful. The animation was beautiful. I'm thoroughly enjoying this multiple episode long task. Can't wait to see the conclusion. |
