| Lmao Mordred feels like a pushover getting his ass handed to him by Beta and Epsilon. Rose is officially the Queen now. Back when I was watching Season 1, I thought she was just a joke character. You know, the one who's supposed to be the typical love interest for the MC, which doesn't really go anywhere. I mean, she kinda still is but... I never could've imagined her to go through such a massive character arc. She might just be my favorite female character of the show now. Forget Alexia. Lowkey hoping Cid ends up with Rose if anyone at all. The fight scenes were great. This fucking guy... I've seen a lot of people calling Shadow cringe, and he is. But I can't lie, he is really badass sometimes. Lots of lore dumping in the middle. Didn't think it'd amount to much... But then that ending. What the fuck was that ending?! How the fuck did they end it like that?! UGH. I hate cliffhangers. I hate that the sequel is a movie. Even though it probably means the animation will be solid, we probably aren't gonna see it anytime soon, considering it's been basically 2 years. I hate this. Didn't think I'd actually see Nishino again. Or Cid being isekai'd back to earth. Earth looks rough. I think it got invaded by those 4th dimension beings like Ragnarok or something. I'm not sure which season I like more. Season 1 was longer and felt a bit more focused. The first few arcs of Season 2 I didn't like that much. But this last arc was amazing. I'm glad it focused on Rose and the Oriana kingdom. I guess I liked it cause it felt more connected to Season 1. I liked that the Seven Shades and Shadow Garden got a bit more focus in this season but it wasn't really enough to change my mind about them. Either way, this was a very interesting isekai. It feels like a typical isekai in a lot of ways, but it's different enough to stand out, I guess. The Eminence in Shadow didn't become my favorite isekai or anything like that, but I'll definitely be watching any future instalments. Can't wait for the movie... I still wish they had just done a 3rd season instead of a movie, but oh well. It is what it is. |
