I hated this. The scene with the teacher and Ryuko was weird. The scene with her and Mako's family was gross. I've read some of the interpretations of this show as commentary on anime standards; it's certainly a parody. I'm not sure that any of this is particularly good though? It also has the crazy Adult Swim deranged humor. I might drop this...

The fanservice is crazy! Cool that male characters are getting them as well. Satsuki's sword fighting skills must be top tier if she doesn't need a Goku uniform.

The uniform had a name, Senketsu and drains her blood very fast so she is always retreating. A look to Mako's family and they are very poor, most people are poor in that town and live in those slums. That teacher acts very suspicious, how does he know a lot of things about that uniform? And another fight, this time against a tenis player and a tenis match with lots of fanservice, Mako's interventions are my favorite thing. And the ed appeared, is my favorite and better than the op. Good episode, explained many things about the world they live in and some dynamics.

Fanservice was top notch lol at tennis competition.

I'm worried about the reused animations though. Hopefully Trigger doesn't run out of budget.

All in all good episode and cute ED.
