| I'm not finding it that bad. Animating long dancing sequences in every episode would require an insane amount of effort. I won't rate it 9 or 10, but after 7 episodes I've already seen quite a few impactful moments thanks to good OST and directing. Giraffe necks are a really weird choice, but aside from that I really like the character designs. Talking about "performing arts" anime, I'm much more baffled by the complete absence of threads like this towards Nodame Cantabile, an awful adaptation that gets a free pass just because it's relatively old. |
