Overall, I found this episode rather average but I admit it had its moments.

It was okay... slightly annoyed that the flashback didn't match the previous episode, haha XD, but it was still cute.

So that’s called the Hero’s Sword, and the girls were talking about their favorite monsters, when I originally thought they were talking about boys that they like. This show will definitely continue to throw me for a loop.

And it seems that Mao’s plans have all failed, and she didn’t decided to expel Yusha’s party in spite of them not bringing back the orb like every other party (albeit, it was clearly rigged). We also get a flashback to the spell and learn that the reason the spell failed is because Yusha messed up the incantation.

The main thing for this episode was for Yusha, Seira, Mei, and Fai to choose a leader for their team. They decided on Chibi, and were shocked when Mao said no to that, so they had trial runs in which Yusha thought it was a good idea to BREAK INTO SOME WOMAN’S HOUSE AND TAKE THEIR VALUABLES?! WHAT THE HELL KIND OF “QUEST” DID SHE THINK THEY WERE DOING?! Seira’s idea of cleaning after themselves and cooking was good, but she’s just garbage at it. Fai is a glutton and ate all the food, and Mei did the equivalent of standing out at night camping out for the newest video game (which doesn’t work in this day and age since you can buy them online), but didn’t know the store doesn’t allow it. So they are all gonna lead the party in specific ways.

And it seems that Mao may have decided to give up on taking out the Hero’s party and will commit to living a normal life.

This anime has combat, comedy, and cuteness, so I’m still gonna continue this series at my own pace!
