This is more of a satire that is dealing with the very issue of man-hating women of today. Her Dad may be a lecherous old man but I take his acts in this episode as his way of trying to motivate his daughter to be more open about men and relationships so she doesn't spend the rest of her life as a loner like he did. The point is she's young and experienced, we all were at that age. Don't make assumptions just because the first episode left a bad taste in your mouth. Obviously the last thing she expected was a boy confessing to her and then treating her with respect, like he did when he covered her up instead of throwing himself on her like a pervert or having a nosebleed like any other harem MC. From here we'll see how and if she changes after this experience. |

He can't help who is and both he and his daughter knows this. Since he's proven to be such a bad example of a father it's his fault that his daughter ended the way she is and he knows this. | Pretty good (: I like the main character so far, though I can't say the same about the father. He seems really annoying and only reminds me of the grape guy from boku no hero academia. That's a big red flag for me. That confession scene was surprisingly well made though, apart from the cringy fishing rod thing. |

Can you really blame her for being the way she is? Maybe if you look closer at her character as time goes on instead of just relying on initial impressions it would make a huge difference about how you feel. For example, you could ask the question, "Why exactly is she like this?" That's what I always do. I wasn't trying to be aggressive and I apologize if I was. I was only trying to give you some friendly advice because if this anime came out six years ago I would have made the exact comment you did. I was very much like you until I realized that what people really wanted to hear were the honest words of a wise man and not the rants of a raving child. There's nothing wrong with having dislikes and/or disagreements, but you need to be careful with how you express them because it could get you into trouble. Serious trouble. I'm just speaking from personal experience. Yes, I do have some kind of attachment to this anime because there's a lot I can relate to. I too had my own issues with my Dad, who sadly is no longer here, and my childhood wasn't exactly easy either. I'm assuming that wasn't the case for you and if so good for you.
