Belladona is now even more dense and stupid than he was in the begin.


It had some funny moments, but overall is a fail as comedy, a fail as fantasy.

At least it dont tried to be Ecchi (a fail of), so i could finish it without to drop.

So, yeah, as another generic comedy-fantasy (definitely like these combination no matter how generic it was), its actually pretty entertaining for an easy-going person like me.

Shoma and Sou doting over Lloyd is pretty hilarious lmao, I personally think Lloyd is an obliviously dense MC done right, I know Lloyd gets a lot of flak, but I honestly really like him.

I'm going to miss these loveable fools, I hope we get a season 2 since I think there's like 10 or 11 volumes now and I saw that the anime covered until 5, so maybe in 1 or 2 years hopefully we get a season 2. 7.5/10

So this was a pretty goofy, silly, stupid show, but in a good way. I know some people really didn't like Lloyd's running gag of being totally oblivious to what was really going on, but I didn't mind it. Honestly my favorite running gag in the series was whenever Lloyd would randomly flick or toss a giant grasshopper or locust off the screen like it was nothing, Team Rocket blasting off again-style. While she probably wasn't the hottest girl, though she's up there, I did enjoy Selen most out of them and if anyone were to win the Lloyd sweepstakes it deserves to be her imo. And that's all I took away from this. Honestly it's really closer to a 6, but I'll be nice and give it a 7/10. I'd watch a second season if we got it, but plot is not this show's strong-suit, so I do hope it would keep its comedy roots.

Having now also read the 5th volume of the LN, I'm less surprised by how much was cut - it actually does a pretty good job here, unlike compressing the 4th volume into just one episode - but by what was cut - essentially all the big revelations this volume had about the past and due to this also leaving us with no real understanding of Eug's motivations... A bit disappointed by the changes to the last fight as well, though.

What a journey that we went on, i thoroughly enjoyed it a lot actually. In the beginning I was like this anime is whatever but towards the middle and the end I started to enjoy it more. A good watch 7/10 the ed song is so catchy.

Pretty anticlimactic end but the show is all about comedic anticlimax so I guess it's fine. There was lots of talking throughout most of this episode and the talking just went on and on. The disappointment that it would end in this kind of lame way kept building up so by the end I didn't feel much about anything going on.

I don't know what it says about me but the slapstick really did it for me at many points. Other than that though, not the most memorable show. I wish Lloyd would've come out of his naivete at least a little bit. He should have easily noticed his strength in comparison to regular people and it got a little frustrating to hear him constantly lament his "weakness". And it kinda made me uncomfortable that all of these chicks, a couple of which being much older (?), were all over a prepubescent boy like him.

Overall, cute show though. However, I'll probably forget about it in the near future unfortunately.

We also know better series with better adaptations that have enough material for another season or two that have never gotten them, so no matter how many times you repeat it, it still doesn't make it more than wishful thinking until there's an actual announcement confirming a sequel.
