| I have to agree. S1 had an amazing headstart with the first 4 episodes being 10/10 material, then the rest of the series settled for a steady and stable 8/10 S2 started very good, on par with S1 5-25, so 8/10, and the second arc from episode 7 got even better, 9/10 material defo. So yeah, in average I think S2 is better than S1. S1 beats S2 only for the headstart. But I'd say the headstart counts as headstart for the whole series, not just the season. Also technically the series never really dipped for me, always stayed leveled or improved. Furthermore, production value. S1 had some janky cgi moments, like the meat dragon breaking havoc in the city and that horrible 3d filolial fighting it. As for S2, I watched it throughly with my all-seeing-bad-cgi-eye, and I couldn't spot much at all. The animation of S2 is way better than S1's too. |
