| This will be a great series. I was hoping they could've just ended it with a cliffhanger where princess? Earnest will get more screentime and more animation of what's currently happening inside those flames and how she's fighting Asmodeus' Sword. I was also hoping that they would give more epic and heartfelt self-reflection and even more flashbacks from her while she's fighting inside the flame, but it looks like they obviously just skimmed or skipped some parts to get that ending, which makes it quite disappointing if it were so. Anyway, the main girl is a red-haired beauty (yes!) and we got a lot of, probably, canon-fan-service... I guess it was okay until she went to bed. There were some cute moments, but then again, they mostly focused on Earnest's cleavage; it was really golden—ahem. Additionally, I enjoyed the VA's efforts for Earnest, though she needs more impact and I need more volume from her embarrassed retorts towards Blade. The battle scenes were so cool; I really liked them. It looks like they didn't skip anything, as far as I can tell, and we get to have another cute girl after Earnest's introduction. Well, the black-haired and the blue-haired ones seem interesting. No, I am seriously not eyeing the cute girls, not even the priest girl in the Advanced Class. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| The MC's strength doesn't really carry the show in an enjoyable way. Just generic ecchi but not too overboard. Probably going to drop it if it doesn't get more interesting. |

| Arnest is an interesting character, she resisted the possessed sword but now has control over it, so I imagine she is more powerful (is that why she's in a better mood with her classmates now?) Also, regarding Blade, is he the hero that defeated the demon lord? I was not clear on that (and maybe it doesn't matter?) but he is very powerful and he has access to a modern looking room with computers where he did research on Arnest's sword. Neutered depictions work for some things like when a character's body is glowing but when they are clearly visible yeah it just is so offensive to me because it really is being disrespectful to artists. It's even worse in cases when the males have nipples but the females dont. I know they allow nipples on blueray releases but who has time to wait around for those all the time for a minor difference? Even then it's still able to be potentially censored because Japan for whatever reason never got rid of a law the US occupying forces put in place in WWII. Oh funny note on the Barbie doll comment. Old Barbie dolls used to have a crotch crevice but at some point they started making them with plastic panties printed in the mould and removed the crevice. |

| The starting scene: Nice. Good. Looks like it could pull me in. The rest of the episode: Super bland. Main girl's personality is ALL over the place. She looks like your typical stuck up hall monitor student council gal and then it keeps changing rapidly. The episode feels super rushed. The relationship between the two too quick. Sometimes I can forgive animation quality, but nothing particularly reaches out to me as truly interesting. I'll give it 1-2 more episodes for a fair shot, it makes me think back to Negima days and I want to know more about the hero/king relationship. But considering how many other anime this season is contesting for my attention, it needs to do better to make me care about these characters. |

| Huh... so this dude wants to live a "normal school life" but then next minute it's revealed (or hinted) the MC is either the "Hero that defeated the Demon Lord" or "Reincarnated Hero"... Not only that, but he went and introduce himself to everyone and saying "I'm Blade I'm Blade" when everyone was literally next to each other... possibly the most annoying thing ever, I am pretty sure everyone can hear you say "I'm Blade" just one time... If I was one of the random dude, I would punch this MC in the face, but then I would probably get killed by his generic MC OP plot-armor power. . I was interested when I read the synopsis, but the actual anime... is kinda bland and the MC is fairly annoying to say the least. (if Blade doesn't go crazy trying to be a normie, he would be a much better MC, but I guess this is going to be his "comedy routine") . Also... we got Advanced Tech now too... huh... that was so out of place when the setting and buildings is fantasy castles... Is this another "Earth advanced so much it destroyed itself and then reborn back as a fantasy world with magic", LOL Such as: Yuusha Yamemasu, . And the flame girl instantly gets a better rep... simply by letting her hair down... right... it was such an easy fix. (literal the fix in any series for serious looking girls with tied up hair... let the hair down and you instantly look innocent and pure) |
