| What does this series even want? That we start caring for a stupid girl and her pet dog or how much this duel mean to them... what???? Why should I lol. Also, can these people please stop referring others as Mr or Ms, because it sounds dumb and out of place as fuck. |
| Stacy is just entitled spoiler brat simple as that, if she thinks that's the way to get daddy prise her then she is deluded, only thing she gets is belt lashes the revenged plot is on hold til S2, this is tournament plot/arc |

| Milligan turning her own severed hand into a familiar is ingenious. You could consider it necromancy, or even "magic recycling". Starting to really appreciate these fights too. The protagonists have a great win record, but there's still an air of tension to every single match, which does remind you of how competitive and unforgiving this academy really is. |

| Lots of action in this one with the three on three battle, but unfortunately this animation isn’t as good as what we’ve seen before this, it was decent looking tho and I’ve seen much worse, I’m not that upset lol. Fights have been pretty interesting so far too, I’d say Oliver versus Albright is the better of the two at the moment purely from the fighting aspect, but I can’t see Oliver losing because we saw him beat a teacher already lol, but he did use a Spellblade there, so maybe winning without it against a really good fighter will be tougher. And then there’s Stacey and Fay versus Chela and Nanao, it’s not been that crazy besides the werewolf transformation but I do like that this fight means more to Stacey and Fay, their backstory together was nice to see, it’s just unfortunate Chela doesn’t have a proper understanding of Stacey’s feelings it seems, but at least Nanao put her in the right headspace to give her all too. Aside from the fights, I liked getting to see the second floor of the labyrinth, so it kinda acts like the DanMachi dungeon in the aspect that it changes completely. It was cool seeing Vera Miligan again too and her weird Addams Family hand lol, I’m glad she’s an ally now despite her dastardly deeds before. And the troll’s name is Marco now huh, it fits, but I’m thinking he could possibly die in the future now that he’s shown that he doubles as a bodyguard. |
