| Who's Rem Julius?😭😭 Atleast it wasn't Felt, for a moment thought she was gonner. It's a worst kept secret who she is and her lineage. But good thing she didn't knew. And that scepter has link Echidna wow. Best girl Echidna saves the day again. Loli power...  Beako🙂 Felt😁 Seeing Glutony get wrecked was nice, shame that her sister saved him. Well atleast they killed Regulus and captured Sirius not bad. Although I doubt the benifit in that. Last episode felt rushed not the best of the season. Julius and Ricardo fight probably saved for next season. Judging from visual from S4 Julius joins Emilia camp from now. From the beating he gave Subaru to now he is the only one he remembers. Some turnaround. Season three was excellent as you expect from Re:Zero. A lot different with more focus on fights which is fine but I am not biggest fan of it. It excels in drama, suspense and most of all trauma and suffering. There was some but less this season but when it was there those were best moments like Capella scenes they fucking cooked there, Subaru's speech, Liliana, Van Astera episodes were most enjoyable. Animation is better than ever but not the strongest arc story wise. S2 was far far better. My favourite Crusch camp got devestated, dk when or if Crusch will recover. Felis is broken, Willhem got more traulma added. This season really improved Priscilla, Reinhardt and Regulas and introduced one of the best characters in Capella and despite being very hated I liked Lilliana aswell. Emilia and Subaru also has thier moments, Subaru only used return by death once in entire arc. Perhaps this going to be pattern from now on. Arc 4 >> Arc 3> Arc 5> Arc 1> Arc 2 Looking forward to next season hopefully there won't be another 4 year wait. |

| Mimi!! Sure, had a lot of character development, other important challenges were overcame. But I'm here trying to think what was accomplished from past plot points. Crystal to get Puck back: No. Rem wake up: No. On other hand more problems were acquired, Crusch situation got worse, some lost a limb, more people lost memories or were lost from, families relations got worse too. Subaru once again receiving the benefits of his Witch Cult unofficial Platinum membership. By remembering the guy. |

| Feels rushed, but still a decent ending imo. I thought we were gonna see Reinhard vs Lust, but apparently Lust just ran away. Also lucky for Beatrice and co. that Gluttony decided that she don't want to fight, because I feel like she can overpower them. Was wondering what predicament will they leave us with to end the season, and it turns out to be Julius. To be honest, he's the first person I expected to have his name erased lol, but I'm surprised Riccardo still kept his name. With Julius erased from other's memories, I hope he'll be entering Subaru's party temporarily until the problem is sorted out. Though I enjoyed the previous season a lot more, this was another very fun season. Episodes always went by in a flash. 9/10. |

Some LN Extra Details (Volume 20, Chapter 1.3-1.5 & 6 )
- Beatrice has seven crystal for use and plan to keep one to keep her awake so that she would not be a burden.
- The method Beatrice use to get mana from the crystal is a taboo technique and very inefficient. She would forcefully extract the mana from the crystal and it would be like needing 1000MP to use a 10MP spell to put it in gaming term.
- Otto uses Wind magic behind Lye as a distraction before Beako uses Ul Minya, similar to what he did to Garfiel and Elsa for distraction.
- Beako remembers that Subaru always say that celebrating too early is a sign of a failed plan.
- Beako said to Felt that the staff is used to bully a certain dragon, even though she only heard that from the first generation Roswaal, so she wasn't sure if it was true. She remembers her mother when she saw that metia, which probably originally belongs to Echidna.
- Subaru thought Beako was the one that destroyed the building as a joke gag.
- When Subaru is asking Anastasia regarding others, he has resolved to go through all that again if he had lost any of the royal candidates and knights even though he did not like the option, considering on what he experienced in the Sanctuary.
- Emilia notes on possible love triangle happening between Garfiel, Mimi and Ram. Subaru is surprised that she can easily talk about other people's love lives
- After Wrath's interrogation, Subaru has a one on one conversation with Wilhelm, after seeing him alone with a melancholic aura
- Subaru said to Wilhelm on how he respects him from the bottom of his heart and there is nothing wrong in wanting to give his wife a proper burial and memorial service. He also would like to pay a proper respect to his wife's grave. Wilhelm soften up after hearing all that and would love Subaru come when that time comes. He also thanked Subaru for everything up until now.
- Subaru was glad that Wilhelm has a final closure with his wife. Before Subaru left, Wilhelm want to ask him something, but end not up asking it. After he left, Wilhelm is whispering quietly, muttering something weird "If you would, please, my—". I'm not sure how to intepret this as this could have many meanings. He thought that is a unspoken word that none should hear and should not be spoken by the Sword Devil.
Differences from LN

@Marinate1016 There's been multiple threads this season complaining about how this is "the worst season", "it's a generic shounen", "it's boring", etc..

| I had to go back and check if I accidentally missed ep15 because Lust just disappeared. I guess Reinhard scared even her away. All things considered not a bad outcome, 2 less sin archbishops to worry about and atleast they know the enemies cards now. I was expecting some real cliffhanger twist to happen, but Julius seems mild compared to Rem since he is actually conscious. Subaru can just reintroduce him. So whatever Al meant when he said Anastasia was fake will be left open for now? Just changing your legal name seems like great counter to gluttony lol PS: Im mostly surprised Subaru managed to make it through this without dying. I guess he did die a bunch at the start.. |

| I really enjoyed every second of season 3, Re:Zero being a very kino series to watch as always. Do feel like some stuff were skipped through in the last episode a bit, I dunno I haven't read that far into the light novel yet. Also that cliffhanger at the end, Julius has become forgotten about well at least he isn't in a coma like Rem is. Can't wait for Season 4. |

| Damn, it wouldn't be Re Zero without ending a season on a cliffhanger and poor Julius is the victim of being forgotten by his allies. I do feel for the poor guy. =( It just shows how annoying and tricky Gluttony is, especially when he, Lye, isn't alone in this as he was saved by his siblings and they also did a number on poor Otto's legs. Thankfully Gluttony as a whole retreated the same way Capella did and thus, the city is now safe again and everyone can start to rebuild it. So aside from the Julius situation, this episode did end on a positive note. I'm happy that Beatrice is back thanks to Al and I do miss her remarks. Even better news is that there's a 4th season in the works, so the wait for that should be shorter compared to the time waiting between the 3 seasons we've had thus far. Overall, I'm satisfied with how this season has performed. It's still strong on the story narrative, the character development has been great (Heck, I do like Priscilla now, which I thought would never happen!) and the production values have been a good step up from season 2, with episode 13 being the highlight in terms of sakuga animation. All I can say now is bring on the fun, and pain, of season 4! |
