Riyo really finished the fight in an American way. 😂 (Just kidding)

The most important part was mentioned at the end — the Watchman series. I can’t wait for the continuation of the story.

Amazing ep

LMAO, Jabber though shit was sweet and got gunned down.

Enjin's fight gotta be the most filler like bs ever.

Riyo's fight vs blonde was amazing.

THEY REALLY THROWING HANDS

NOT THE GLOCK😭

Cool to see that she's a assassin, but how did she find love with those scissors as her vital instrument?

Yessir, Jabber finally got humbled. Tho, I'm sure he's prolly alive.

Very interesting Zodyl.

10/10

Show has some of the most clever character designs and use of crazy color schemes. The mystery is great if a little slow. But these fight scenes are just so ridiculously stupid. Creative, but boring and retarded. I guess when every one has already used every available super power skill set it was bound to get bizarre. Static hair? LOL

Easily my favorite episode so far. Riyo's fight scene was amazing, something about fight sequences that are straight hands are always just beautiful when done well. Not to mention that scene when she smashed through the mirror. Also thought it was hilarious when she pulled out a gun ngl lmao.

That was a great episode that Bones elevated. Probably one of the better episodes so far.

First of all, the Riyo-with-a-gun reveal was awesome. Riyo emptying an entire magazine into Jabber was brutally hilarious; Jabber's seiyu groaning the entire time made it so much better. For Riyo, though, it was probably like knocking at the door to unhappiness. Her backstory is going to hurt, I'm sure. Someone else noted that she changes hairstyles when going into assassin mode, which I think is important since she clearly cares a lot about her hair.

Also, the Riyo vs. Noerde fight was very well animated. Bones' choreography was nice, and honestly, I didn't mind the Mori song. If you focus on the instrumentation, it's actually kind of hype; the singing wasn't even that bad either.

@Deima82 Idk why you're so mad, writing everything caps locked?

You simply don't pull of your trump card at the beginning of a fight and Riyou pulled off her gun, because her survival wasn't guaranteed. If Enjin will find out about Riyou owning a gun, she will be in big trouble for sure. The consequences would affect her massively.

Btw Zodyl wants to use Rudo for his target and not simply use him as an offering. Harming Rudo could lead him to lose information about the sky.
@Ricchan__

Apparently the sign of someone with 2 brain cells who doesn't even bother to listen to the conversation between Riyou and lightning woman, or what she says about her past, before spouting off nonsense IN ALL CAPS.

I always wonder how people like that get thru life, as they must just miss so much. (shrug)

Wow, did you see that they were two warriors fighting? And did you notice the symbolism of the broken mirror, the model's letters, and the torn teddy bear? In case it wasn't extremely obvious what the author wanted to say, it's that they are strong women, not princesses. Wow, I confess I laughed at that message, conveyed in such a sloppy and awful way. After that, to me, this author seems like a rebellious and gloomy teenager, but perhaps because it's a shonen manga, she did it so explicitly because she knows the messages need to be obvious for the audience to understand. Even so, I think the first possibility is the most accurate.

Leaving that aside the fight choreography in one cut was extremely wonderful.

@PrimeX You should know after 18 episodes that their super powers come from their vital instruments themselves and not from their physical abilities. It also depends how the user is using their vital instruments. That's why Semiu was able to protect the HQ from the bullets of the attackers few episodes ago.

I did NOT expect Riyo to just pull a gun out of nowhere and end the fight, and honestly its kinda funny how they showcased Noerde's vital instrument and powers just for riyo to go ''that's cool but I have a gun'' 😭

Overall a great episode, gonna be interesting to see where it goes from her.

@BasedHappy I'll ignore the insult and thank you for the information, it explains a lot.

Maybe I'll research who the screenwriter and storyboard artist for this episode were, but even so, it obviously had the author's approval, so it's her fault for allowing such bad scenes to be added. Anyway, it seems I wasn't entirely wrong, since now I know it was the second option. (Second option: "She made it so explicit because she knows the messages need to be obvious for the audience to understand.")

FIRST OF ALL GREAT FIGHT SCENE BETWEEN Riyou AND Noerde,BUT AT THE END OF THE FIGHT RIYOU JUST SHOOTS NOERDE,THEN WHAT WAS THE POINT OF THE FIGHT IN THE FIRST PLACE IF YOU JUST GONNA SHOOT HER?,ALSO RIYOU CLAIMED TO BE A KILLER A SECRET AND YET SHE GOT HER ASS KICKED SEVERAL TIMES IN THE FIGHT,BUT YEAH KILLER,ASSASSIN RIGHT,IF YOU JUST GONNA SHOOT THEN SHOOT WHY WASTE MY TIME WITH THE FIGHT THEN?ALSO RUDO JUST TALKS WITH THE ENEMY BOSS CHARACTER FOR COUPLE OF EPISODES JUST TALKING.ALSO IN THE SAME FIGHT BETWEEN RIYOU AND NOERDE AT SOME POINT THEY JUST CUT AND LET US HEAR HOW THEY FIGHT,AND THEM CONTINUES TO SHOW THE FIGHT LIKE WTF?

did u even read the dialogue? She wanted to be sure that no one was around to hear her gun. When it was clear she doesnt stand a chance to end it fast she pulled it out.
Guns are kinda controversial in the universe so with the lack of context i can understand why it may seem non sensical for her to just blast everyone with the gun.

Hey look she's smashing girly stuff and mirrors! What could they possibly be trying to say? Ugh… Cringe overt girl boss symbolism would have been a more accurate episode title. Be sure to follow suit and fight all societal norms, ladies! You totally won't wake up 40 one day and regret everything!

This show is ugly as hell in many aspects. It's got some good in it. It's original, well animated, and decently written, but it's also loaded with awful social commentary symbolism. I think the backdrop of a lack of some really actiony content packed with fights is giving this an artificial boost. It's overrated and preaching self-destruction. Norms aren't inherently bad. No one is holding you down if you have the means to create or even just watch the show.

The symbolism of the smashed objects is loss of innocence and self loathing.

@WienGirl “Okay, I’ll admit it was a bit hard to follow the conversation — that’s why I found the fight and story a bit confusing. But pointing that out isn’t a personality flaw, and calling me ‘two brain cells’ doesn’t make your take any stronger.”

lol so it wasn't just me who hated those horribly placed symbols in the anime.

@Midio7 "Loss of innocence and aversion"???
I don't know if you noticed, but the red-haired girl who destroyed the teddy bear is cute and cares about her appearance, like when she worries about her hair. But worse than that is the scene where the villain punches a model wearing makeup, even though the villain herself wears makeup and apparently values her hair a lot. In other words, this is a typical feminist message that falls into contradiction in less than a second.

@Desmascarado "typical feminist message" when it literally coincides with Noerde being a prideful narcissist and Riyo being a SIXTEEN YEAR OLD assassin. It's not rocket science to understand even the loss of innocence part jfc.

@radicalmac_ It's not a woke message, it's just a poorly conveyed feminist message. If it were woke, instead of feminine objects, there would be objects representing the oppressive patriarchy that martyrs defenseless women. 😭😭😭😭

The world-building with guns is so fucking stupid and bad 😭 Also the "Are you a killer?" or whatever line from the electric hair girl, when they've literally been fighting to sacrifice (and presumably kill) the Cleaners.

Like why the hell would that be a sudden "twisted" shocking revelation? 😫

Normally they at least write in some kind of thing like "people's powers can stop bullets" or just don't have guns in their show to stop this kind of silliness.
I also don't understand what result they're fighting for if it's apparently just to spar and make friends...? 🙃

Seems so dumb, but this is just an edgy teenage boy anime if you've maybe being a bit rude about it (sorry to fans). Already wasn't a total fan of the ugly ugly trash environment either.

Man overall it was good but they did Riyo's fight kinda dirty it was good and I was vibing then they cut off screen with sounds of fighting with Mori's insert song playing for a solid 15 seconds . Mori controversy aside... i had forgotten how mid Bones can be because recently they've been popping off 😭

As for the positives, I loved the small hand to hand combat section that was sick art direction on point as usual, Riyo pulling out the stick 👌

oh lawd, never a dull moment with Vtubers and controversy, what now? lol

but that fight was peak, and the insert song is better than the OP surprisingly lol
@DedPanda

There is no new controversy, it's the same old people hating on Mori as always. Her existing is already a source of controversy for some.

Mori has been one of the least controversial vtubers for at least 3 years now, mainly because she's aware of how the smallest things she does gets blown out of proportion by certain groups on the internet.

Anyways, great episode as always
