| If you look at the fight in a vacuum it was actually decent. But in context with everything that happened before this it's incredibly stupid and makes no sense. If the set up for this was that he's planned all along to eventually go solo and had been creating a bunch of spells/abilities for that then it would be fine. Before this though everything we'd been shown made him look like he was mister sacrifice his own desires for the party until they kicked him out, what, three days ago? |

| On ho here let me heal you, no no I must be in pain 9_9 Also let's make sure everyone knows a veteran skilled party have no clue how parties work. Those guys have to keep track of 3, not 1 not 2, 3! buff spells at a time. It's super hard! Now let's take the easiest, most inevitable decision ever and pretend it is super difficult and heart wrenching. |

| Episode 8: OMG this tailspinned so fast into a dumpster fire with decent production values. First 10 minutes introduced like 30 backstory plots that were never hinted at before, then the next 15 threw out nearly all the old characters and gave him a new party of baby-faced fawning super newbies. This is like the author did everything they could think of in episodes 1 to 7, then some years passed and they said, "Let's take this character back for another round of adventuring!" But this show's adaptation made no effort to blend any of it together. |
| How does Sion think he's dead? He's been part of the hero's party this entire time. Surely his name has been public knowledge. Now with the dragon slaying the news of slaying the dragon solo spread but somehow not the name of the guy who slew it? Everyone should know his name at this point. |

| Yeah, I kept thinking "You're all talking about this guy you have to either recruit or kill and you never mention his name!?" And oh, I just love that backstory cheat where vital information gets glitched out. Repeatedly. Just love that. But Dewy Snugglebunny or whatever her name is looks cute and is well into legal age so maybe there will be some entertaining naughtiness. But who am I kidding? She'll probably just turn out to be a mole. |

Yeah it was dumb his old girlfriend hadn't heard his name, but that's just the kind of thing I expect from this level of writing. Now he's got two cute party members to choose from so he doesn't have to get caught up with a couple of tweens. Miss blimp-boobs is there too, but that doesn't seem to be his type. Then again he's making me suspect he's another one of those MC's that has no interest in anyone for some reason or other. |
