This one was disappointing, the premise sounds awesome but unfortunely the humour didnt land with me, and the over-relience on the Mike being Mike as a punchline was grating.

Based purely off of first impression probably the weakest of the seven or so shows this season I've actually started watching so far. It just felt weirdly off and unless it improves in the next few episodes I probably won't stick with it.

A refreshing workplace comedy where the stakes are light and it's only slightly bloody, unless you're Hugh! It's like a neurotic release where the torture victims aren't actually humanized so you don't particularly feel for them besides the recognition that they're getting brutalized so information can be extracted. However, the anime actively dehumanizes them by labeling them other than so no real attachment does get made there. Overall, an interesting premise, albeit probably a dark comedy, maybe even darker for most, but when it's compared to stuff that's actually happening in the real world yet people choose to stay oblivious to it, or don't view it as such because it's not happening to them, it really just is what it is.
