| shut up babe, my favorite romance is on!! I forgot to this came out today otherwise I would've watched it to be on the first page ;-; As much as I hate admitting it, at some point in my life, I've had the same thought lol not recently though. I do relate with the fact that Taira is bound by the same hierarchy that doesn't mean anything. But I can't stop worrying about what people think of me. Its exhausting. I do like seeing how others internal dialog about relationships, it gives characters more importance because they're relatable. And I gotta appreciate the honesty amongst friends and being comfortable with having uncomfortable questions like Taira. Goddamn, 3rd episode in and this anime already has me in tears. This anime is so wholesome, beautiful, and extremely well written. This is the first romance that has been able to realistically encapsulate the feelings, overthinking, and emotions that occur when you first start dating someone. You slowly learn about each other and realize it's okay to not like the same things. I really appreciate Suzuki reassuring Tani all the time. Holy shit, the writing is amazing, as the kids say nowadays, absolute cinema. Also huge shoutout to Azuma who eased Tani's worry. That is the type of people you want in your life, those who are observant and worry not only about you, but the others important to you too. This anime is a huge breath of fresh air. Super underrated and my new comfort anime. |

| One word : ADORABLE Suzuki's definition is on point and she's definitely on cloud 9 by the end of the episode lmao. This show is pretty much a dating or relationship 101 lmao because of how organic the dialogues and interactions between the circle especially the awkwardness between the pair. There's a lot more to explore in between the facet of their relationship and that's great. Is this the time when we finally getting an actually good romance anime in the sea of mediocrity seasonal slop? Arienai!!! |

| I appreciate Taira realizing that his mentality and outlook is problematic but still having a long way to go on improving himself. Realistic that changing your mental and getting out of a toxic headspace isn't just something that happens overnight. |
| Holy moly, I blushed when he called her cute. And I'm a guy. And I burst out laughing when it cut to Suzuki drooling from the damage. Also, great characterization underneath the fluff. Tani realizing that words don't necessarily convey intent 100%. Taira realizing there might be something wrong with how he sees people, and telling Tani to his face that... he can't trust what people say to his face. It's all so shockingly effective and "endearing." |

Suzuki to Tani, "Yeah, we're polar opposites and that's fine but I still want to appreciate for who you're." 🥹💖💖 Tani's also starting to think more about the feelings that he's conveying through his words and the words that are conveyed to him. Their relationship is starting to improve them both so much. This romance feels so mature even though they're high Schoolers. I'm really loving this show so much. |
| whew! that wasn't just cute, kawaii, endearing, entertaining, and second-hand cringe... but surprisingly deep in many places! g'damm! :O i didn't think i'd get not just overflowing diabeeetus from this show but some actual thought-provoking dialogue and situations! :O plus... Tani-kun's got a touch of the rizz with that face cup! ;> and 'you are cute' line! :D also, the animators are kicking butt with the non-verbal cues! after she dismounts her big-bro's motorcycle she sees her man and goes bonkers trying to fix her hair somehow and ends up with a pair of adorbs twin-tails... and she keeps them for the rest of the episode... even fiddling with one of them right before Tani-kun goes for the ... affection bomb... sure, the hyper-stylized beyond chibi bizarre art in spots is immersion ruining! but the other parts that are a little too cartoony due to the overall character design, still show human reactions with some fun and realistic detailing. many expressions in their faces and body positions definitely communicates excellently! i really enjoyed Tani-kun's library internal monologue about communication between people and how spoken words need body language and visual inputs added in. plus how he finds it difficult to read people's internal monologues as he is talking with or observing them. |

| Taira (same seiyuu of Rentaro? Really?) is basically me when i had his age. Just... not as ugly and as pessimistic. Yes, i went there. Nothing much to add for the rest, it was a even worse time than ever to me to watch this episode but i had already skipped it one week ago. |
