| It took guts for Tani to tell his grandma that Suzuki is his girlfriend but that for sure was the right call, and it looks like grandma will keep it a secret from his parents (at least for now). Meanwhile Suzuki told her mom and asked her to not tell the rest of the family, I guess she doesn't want to be teased by them. Beyond that a couple of side characters became friends which was ok. |
| :/ ookaaay! i didn't expect a whole half of this ep to be centered around 'snickering library attendant girl'. somebody tell Nishi... THAT level of profiling people and stereotyping is seriously STUPID. especially for somebody at her apparently BELOW average intellect and capabilities of cold-reading people. because she got EVERYTHING wrong about Suzuki's circle that Tani just joined. she really lives inside that empty head of hers way WAY too much. if she was as much about the gloom, doom, and depression as Taira... those two would hit it off. now we leap forwards into the start of Summer Vacation and... Tani utterly and entirely cluelessly with ZERO foreknowledge or even an inkling of appreciation for the gravity of the situation... pulls a WMD outta nowhere! a HOME VISIT at his place with Suzuki and guess who isn't home? every adult! Tani uses NUCLEAR STRIKE TO THE HEART... it was SUPREMELY EFFECTIVE! Suzuki is utterly destroyed! LOL!! hhahahaha! :D well, that moment of closeness, skinship-adjacent and possible smoochings! between those two kids AND THE CAT is at fault? LOL! :D yep, that's karma for ya Tani! put your poor maiden's heart through the wringer and mmhm! the cat's gettin all the luvin! hahaha! hilarious! oh thank all the otaku gods out there! Gramma Tani is ultra-modern, hip, and not an antiquated mentality, super-conservative baba like Granny Shiki (the male lead's gramma) in Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!!!! otherwise? Suzuki's belly blouse and jeans combo? in THAT romantic clinch? mmmhm! end of the world as they know it... |

| The huge number of characters in this anime was one of the aspects that motivated me to start this adventure, beacuse I had faith that I would see proper development for all the “secondary characters,” and even before reaching the halfway point of the series, I can already confirm it. Telling two stories while perfectly managing the time dedicated to each of them is something few series dare to do. But the amount of detail, colors, dialogue, and interactions that this series explores is enough to give every episode a real sense of soul. I don’t want to explain the stories themselves—they are a solid 10/10 overall—but if I had to mention just two details that I found incredible, they would be: 1. Yamada’s attitude when he sees how girls with very different personalities are happy because of who he is feels beautiful to me. It sparks a huge curiosity in him, as if that small step between the two of them could be the door to a much more beautiful and unique relationship. 2. Tani hesitates about telling his family about the relationship he is in. This doubt arises purely from a coincidence—an idea I already found very interesting—but after what happened in this part of the episode, I was fascinated to see how, in such a passive way, both families now know about the relationship. It felt so refreshing that this topic was resolved in such a casual manner. It’s incredible what this series can do without you even noticing.   Obviously, Azuma’s panties did not influence this rating. |

I'm happy there are not the usual clichès and all the relationships/frindships are heathy ones. Not like other stories where insecurities miscommunication and whatever else just render the overall relationship a bit disfunctional

| I loved the first half, and the second part was even better. WHOLESOME MOMENTS WITH GRANNY & MOM ❤❤🤣 Yamada's friends giving the green light for his ship was great 🤣 I wasn't expecting a direct attack in the end lol. 11/10 |

| Yamada is a straight shooter and I love that about him. So he's into those shy types. Suzuki and Azuma supporting Yamada and their advice on how to get the phone number of someone you love was so funny and Honda having to act as a buffer between Nishi and Yamada 😅🤣❤️ Nishi's got a chance to land a perfect boyfriend. That turned into a Home date for Tani and Suzuki and her worrying about what Tani's parents would think about her, haha. Grandma arrived at the right time and her 'Ara..Ara..' got me. Tani ended up saying that she's her girlfriend..sweet. Suzuki bringing Vegetables from her boyfriend's home and now her mom knows..❤️ |
| The first part wasn't that good but it was still cute, I know they'll be a great couple, they look cute together. I always appreciate the scenes of Tani and Suzuki, they are so adorable and the part where Suzuki's stomach growled was very funny. And I must say it is good to tell someone of your family about a relationship, specially with someone lf your full triste so that person supports you and understand so you don't have to hide it. P.S: Tani's cat is very cute, I love him 🥺  |

| The interaction at the end with Suzuki and her mom's wholesome excitement really cemented this show into S-Tier for me. It's so so SO well executed for a slice of life. Every chracter feels so consistent and genuine and its impossible not to fall in love with all of them. |

| Fuuuck I keep forgetting this comes out on Sunday 😭 for some reason I keep getting it mixed up with Monday and Tuesday "Nisshi, if only you didn't get nervous, you'd be able to talk normally," yeah no shit sherlock. Yamada is soooo good!! I love his character so much. He's such a good boy, he falls in love with shy girls who laugh at him being silly. It doesn't get much more wholesome than that tbh. Grandma is such a sweetie! I thought she was gonna be upset, but she's just a darling angel. Suzuki's mom is also a darling angel. |

| I haven't said how much I love the opening, they look like they are having so much fun :D Yes! Go for it Yamada, everyone is rooting for you. Honda spectating from the sidelines trying hard not to grin is pretty funny too. Tani-kun thought Suzuki was leaning in for a kiss, but she just spotted his cat. It's hard to tell if he is relieved or disappointed XD Granny approves! |

| Loved the episode. I forgot to mention this last time, but Miyu’s "customer" line to Kentarō in the previous episode was absolutely hilarious. I don’t blame Natsumi for laughing at it, haha. Also, the "Has spring come for you, although it’s summer?" line Miyu said to Kentarō was hilarious too, haha. I don’t think many people will understand it, though. In Japan, spring is associated with love. I also loved that Kentarō wasn’t roundabout at all on the final day of school. He knew it was the last time he’d see Natsumi, so he directly asked for her contact information, which she gave him, haha. |
