| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Great Great episode! It's amazing to see how much Marlene has changed thanks to Yuji and how she does care now for all human beings. her love for him, altough she seems confused about her feelings, gives her so much strength. So Yuji seems to have indeed special genes but it is not specified why he is so interesting for the scientific community of second earth. the last few images of the experiment on him are kinda scarry. By the way, the fact that Blues are getting to a further step of their evolution by combining with humans is just awful!!! |
| I agree with blue_hitomi. Nice to see Marlene is developing in the right direction. A big, big change that is. And since Marlene and Yuji arrived on Second Earth story itself became more interesting. Which is good of course :) |

| I wonder what the Sleepers have in their genes that makes them special. Maybe the Blue are mutated human beings and the Sleepers have the dormant gene? in any case I suppose all will be answered soon and Yujii will bail Marlene out due to his powa. I LOL'ed at how embarrassingly uneffective the base's soldiers where. Then again, Marlene is a seasoned vet so she probably has some moves that those guys cannot match. She looked great with her hair down BTW. |

| I love how Marlene took the time to change her hairstyle back during the elevator ride lol. Seems we've gone from Yuji yelling out Marlene's name all the time to now her yelling his name. Their romanced is forced and weak so I don't really care for it. Just get to part where the Blue pull a Dead Space already. |

| Marlene going full stealth and out maneuvering this military installation to try and rescue Yuji was very cool! It's funny how they don't think she has any credibility as a soldier, but are still wary of how skilled she is. It was messed up of that trainer to try and re-brainwash her into dehumanizing the "groundlings" again, but her experience and time spent with Yuji aren't that easy to override! It also looked like her desire and feelings to save Yuji reached that Seno Miyagi fellow. That's the only possibility I can think of as to how she got into his room when she was completely cornered. If so, i'm glad not everyone in space is completely heartless. |
