so like i cant sleep like EVAR and when i do i get these crazy dreams and such, and somtimes if im awake for long periods the world colide and it get really funky quite quikly....

the earlist dream i can recall is from when i was 4 and i was sitting in a garden that looked like a painting and i was sitting in a red car of somkind and i was with a girl with blonde hair..sounds like outrun right..only i was 4 in 1985 and out run wasnt release until 1986!

so like are dreams gateway to the future or past or infinty or whatever ?

this one dream i had when i was talking in a chat room cos i was probly on MAL for like 20 hour straight cos i couldn't sleep and then i dream i was in a forum as well and like i know they say you cant read in your dreams but like i was reading text and it would change and stuff...and i got like so many others like this as well...but i want to keep the intro fairly short

so what are your crazy dreams, whats the earliest dream you can recall do you dream at all? they say that people think in either text or images and that effect your dreams too, so like share share >_<

They say that dreams are a way that the mind takes in the events of the day that are unresolved and mix them together... or something to that effect.
I do hate it when i wake up and forget dreams but the ones i do remember are kinda weird.

your spose to have like 8 dreams a night, and when you wake up they all get mixed up. sometimes thats the reason they seem so weird.

and about dreams being the way of your mind working things out, i think thats true.

tho i still dont get why i dream about raptors trying to kill me >.<

Jade you don't have a subconscious fear of dinosaurs do you? Or do you enjoy being chased around by blood thirsty claw-bearing raptors? :P

Hmmms.. I have alot of strange screwed up dreams, they're all blurry and I tend to forget the content as soon as I wake up. I only seem to remember nightmares(which I rarely have these days) and one or two insane dreams. Why is that I wonder?

I used to always have nightmares about dogs and wolves jumping through my window at night and ripping my arms and legs off, or I'd wake up(still in a dream), get out of bed and a dog under the bed would bite my legs and drag me under.

I think there was one where I was at primary school playing in a sand pit, then all of a sudden some wolves came. So I tried to escape on a magic carpet(wtf?) but I only escaped with the top half of my body.

But yeah, over the fear of dogs and wolves now lol.

Is that like being able to remember something just by looking at an image or text? If so I think I'm an image person. Hand me a quote from a film and I could spend all day trying to figure out what its from, but I can turn the TV on, watch a few seconds of a film and guess what it is straight away even if I've only seen it once before -.-'

apparently dreaming of dinosaurs means you are thinking about the past, and you need to move on. which i can relate to... however i think it's more to do with watching jurasic park at the age of 7 XD I have a big fear of raptors yes lol.

iv had dreams about wolfs aswell! they used to chase me 2, but some of them where my friends :D

to remember your dreams more, they say if you think before you go to sleep "i must remember my dream" then u actually do. im pretty sure it works aswell :)

also leaving a note pad and pen next o u, so when u wake up, u right down what remember, then you start to get better :)

another book i read, said if you dont remember your dream it could be your subconscious blocking it on purpose as it's too painfull.

lol mine often started with a t-rex, i had to tell everyone that they were coming and we were all gonna die, then following the t-rex there would be a huge stamped of raptors. D: they haunt my mind.

I remember watching jurassic park when I was younger aswell, the scene where that woman had to run accross the forest into that bunker and turn the power back on was the scariest for me I think haha.

This probably does work, I remember thinking to myself some times "bahh I really dont feel like going to work tomorrow" before I went to sleep, and I'd wake up late to find I turned my alarm clock off in my sleep. Or "I'm gunna get up early tomorrow", and wake up 5 seconds before the alarm clock goes off.

So tonight I'll try "I must remember my dream" :P I don't think a notepad would help me as the dream is gone in seconds -.-'

I had googled it before my last reply, just making sure.. so whats lame? Pretty hard to guess a 22 year old game from just a name and a release date ;) I was more into adventure games than ones with cars anyway ^^

Why where you dreaming about being in a red car with a blonde at the age of 4?

Anyway, isn't that like having thousands of dreams each year, tonnes of different scenarios played out in your mind and when something happens in your life thats like one of those scenarios, you instantly remember the dream and think it was a premonition?

Either that or some would-be game developers went back in time with a DC Mini and stole your dream :P

Maybe some dreams that you forget can lead to senses of deja-vu?

I get that sometimes, when you dream something only to find out it exists later on. The idea behind that is the same behind precognitive ability, basically seeing the future. If it was possible to know where every sub-atomic particle is, where it came from and where it is going then it is possible to tell the future, maybe some dreams allow this to some extent?

You probably just made an subconscious assumption of what was going to happen by piecing together bits of info from the episodes you'd already seen and made an educated guess... subconsciously.

if only i could even start to tell about my dreams...im a huge dreamer.

some starters:
I shapeshift....
I have died many times in my dreams...
have had dreams within dreams...those can suck...
Also one night i had a dream of regular day events...hanging with friends...then the next night i have a continued dream from there...same friends and house i even say "yesterday was pretty fun"
dreams coming true..just fragments
morbid and dark dreams
haunted house dreams

I could go on and on

I sometimes feel like I've done things before randomly, like when walking down a street. But I haven't...deja vu, only from dreams XD

As for anime, well...I once had a dream where Light Yagami chopped off someone's leg and then went into some weird form of remorse because his sister and mother died because of it (no, I don't know either. XD). And then Squalo from Reborn! taught him to become a fisherman to make up for his sins...maybe I'm just a little weird, so nevermind XD

Recently, I dreamed that I died and ascended through some clouds; I was in a room full of dead people who I knew. We all just sat there with a bucket of popcorn and fairy floss and watched everyone else who we knew live out their lives. I remember getting to the end and being reborn...now that's reassuring :)
