| Does anyone besides me think the Mask has anything to do with Saberhagen? And that she might be able to redo all the wrongs she caused 1000 years ago? That way Akabara doesn't have to die in the end to prevent the Black Swan from recurring. If he has to die at the end of all of this in order to free his child's and Stella's souls I'll be seriously pissed. Even though it would be fitting, he deserves some happiness after all he has burdened for 1000 years. |

| All the reveals are finally out. I was calling up to there being something more being the Queen beeing the one to blame. and she killing Stella like that, NOPE. Didnt believe it once bit, and Kayuki did resemble Stella a lot in some scenes, so everything it was just more confirming my theories, but also tying them all together in a way that makes sense. TBH there is no way one can still forgive Stella's mother, fuck no, also I feel the ammount of burden the mangaka is trying to put on Strauss and then how it executes, with everyone else in shock, it feels kinda cringy at times, like MAYBE a bit too much exageration here, so I do feel something could have been better handled here. Outside that, I guess this chapter finally made me accept Stella, Bridget will never have a chance, that is sad, but poor Stella. Honestly cant see this manga ending anything else than a tragedy, or just really bittersweet, having read a bit ahead before writting this, I feel sad for Adelheid too. In one way, Bridget now stands to lose out more, finally knowing the truth, but being burdened with having to lose the two figures she loves the most, her father figure, and her sister... Kinda weird the alien plot has dragged this long, and we have yet to see anything meaningful for them, like them showing up or making real contact, I feel that matter will be rather rushed and was just background to be able to write the story the mangaka wanted, instead of being a real threat. |
