Why is Ghost in the Shell considered such as a cult of japanese animation? I mean, yeah, the graphic is amazing, the character design is superb,...but then? All the personages act like they were on a theater, no emotions, no enphasis in their talks. Also the action is reduced in mere conflicts with guns and stuff. Where is the epicness?Maybe I've overrated cause of all the recensions

It has a pretty good world and some philosophical themes, but yeah, nothing else. The Stand Alone Complex series is miles better.

Ghost in the Shell picks up a concept called " Ghost in the Machine " which basically says that the mind and the body are two separate entities and Ghost in the Shell tries to answer if this could be true or not. This is why it is hailed to be one of the best anime movies of all time.

Is it just me or has there been an odd rise of Ghost in the Shell threads? Anyway, yeah. You don't really argue with a movie that inspired something like The Matrix. You just nod and agree with everyone on how good it is.
And I mean that in the most sexually painful way possible.

It has scuba diving in it, that makes it better than your favourite movie (live action or anime)

Why? It's an atmospheric, technically amazing, thematically outstanding , highly meaningful and inspiring movie. Cyberpunk at it's finest.

Looks like plenty of emotion from the "personages" to me. Though they're cyborgs and the movie portrays how they're essentially becoming machines, particularly with Motoko, with not showing much emotion as they feel more and more detached from their humanity.

Not sure why you thought the action would anything else than "guns and stuff". Were you expecting magic, perhaps? Or a Michael Bay movie? Regardless, GITS and other sci-fi series/movies become cult movies/series because they're not only exciting, but also complex and have many ways to be analyzed.
