I believe the episode was called "Face of the Bar". I got a little weepy. Seriously. I shed some tears when he unmasked the moulin rouge "illusion". I often find myself falling into self deception, so I guess that was just a critical hit to me. |

| I just rewatched all the episodes last night, my favourite episode (like a few others have already mentioned) would be epidsode #9 'Face of the Bar'. The story is so poignant - I think a lot of people can relate to themes the story points out; pride, self-deception, fabrication. Also the previous episode's theme of 'beautiful lie' leads up to this episode very nicely. The last episode is also a favourite, although it feels rushed, it's a nice insight into Sasakura Ryu's reason for becoming a bartender. |
| I don't remember what episode it was, but my favorite is the episode where Sasakura-san gets sick, and his "senpais" run the bar for him while he recovers. |
