I just had the pleasure of watching the X Nebula fan sub of all 75 episodes of Dougram. A show ahead of its time for sure. It seems like an anime that time forgot even though it was very popular during its initial run. And because of its obscurity, there is very little information regarding its production, etc.

After sticking thru all 75 episodes, I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed with the ending. It seems to me like they set it up for a sequel or movie that we now know never came to fruition. Can anyone out there verify this theory? It's been driving me crazy since I watched it, I really fell in love with the characters and story. Did sunrise just decide to move on with other shows(Votoms, Virfam, etc). Any anime historians out there that can help me with this? Thank you!
