| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Well got some more background on Kayuki and some more technical things about the future on the moon. I can't help feeling bad for the position Kayuki is put into. Either she kills a tragic figure that she does care about or she lets herself die and passes the burden of the decision onto the next person. I still think that of all the bad choices here the best is still to kill Strauss. With him you kill one person. While if you don't kill him you die and then the question of how many more die until Strauss is taken out of the picture? By not taking action you involve people that had nothing to do with this. Still she had a tough past with that accident. But no surprise like many she dreamed about being a hero. Fighting evil, saving the day is a cool thing to think about. Somewhere along the way she got put into a role she didn't want. Now she is stuck with the pain of making a choice. |

I don't think Strauss should die until the moon settlement is complete in order to protect everyone. If he dies and humans realize that no one has turned into a human they will try to kill off the race. imo :) Also please remember the queen has to die as well for the Black Swan to go away so that is 2 deaths not 1. Also....if Kayuki did manage to kill him ( which I don't see her as being strong enough to) would she be able to still walk? Or once the Blcak Swan is released will she go back to the way she was? |

Well like Strauss said the Queen is going to die anyways. So I don't count her death since she's going out no matter Kayuki's choice regarding Strauss. I guess the walking question depends on what the Black Swan is doing. Magic always is complicated. It could mean the damage is reversed or if it healed her then the results would stick. Either way being alive is pretty good. Personally just biased for the person that hasn't lived as long. Humans and vampires may be different but hasn't that guy gotten to live long enough? At any rate the situation sucks. Someone has to die and it just comes down to that. |
| Amazing chapter and liked the fact that we got to see the current situations with most of the characters as well as Kayuki's past and her take on the impending decision to come. Still, very curious as to what decision she will ultimately choose, and to make things more difficult, it seems that Kayuki has grown some strong feelings for Akabara. Thinking on this, either way, this may end up to be a tragedy ending either way with sacrifices always being present, makes one think how the series would end? |

| I am starting to wonder how much progress can be made with only 3 chapters left, if that is the correct number. I think Strauss dying is cruel and unfair, but still the best option. I assume he'll be happy if he can conserve his race. And he can never be with his first wife & child again. His living only continues the suffering. It is nice to see everyone preparing to move on. I'm starting to envision a happy ending for this series. |

| Did not expect to have a flash back/inside view of Kayuki's thoughts and feelings. That was a really nice touch. It was also very sad. 2 chapters left. Everything's going to be wrapped up very soon. I'm guessing the fight with the Aliens won't be that long. |
