It was also very sad. 2 chapters left. Everything's going to be wrapped up very soon. I'm guessing the fight with the Aliens won't be that long. Just read it, don't remember the flashback part. Maybe wrong chapter? Now that there is only 2 chapters left, we seriously need to think would will survive. Right now I think Kayuki will win because the Strauss will let her win. |
| Yeah we're getting right to the end here. I was pretty impressed with the conversation had near the end of this chapter. At least it seems Kayuki will be ready to go. But never thought that guy would grow so much and give her pretty good advice. With that sword on the battlefield her chances for losing certainly exist. I do wonder how it will end. Pretty much agree that Kayuki will win. I can't see Strauss killing her at this point. It wouldn't end anything since the Black Swan would just return. Think he is prepared to lose here. Guess we will see how it turns out. |

And I also do not see Strauss Not losing (Not that he won't put up a fight), he seems pretty ready to die. Though I suppose there could always still be one hidden plot twist left we haven't found out about that would shock us :). And yeah my bad...meant to post my first post in chapter 40 discussion. |

| Great chapter and found the several dialogues between the characters before the departure to be great. Very curious as to how the ending outcome will look like though. |

| I guess everyone had to settle things & let their feelings be known before the final act. It was a more emotional read than I was expecting, which made it that much more of an enjoyable read. I think Bridget may have been the star of this chapter, feelings are being shed all around her. Including her own. Loved the "let me drink your blood" request. I suppose it doesn't get much more intimate than that for vampires(& dhampires). |

I agree, great chapter and we finaly saw vampire kiss :) who knows there might not be final battle between Strauss and Kayuki, think Strauss made aliens ilusion and that he will try to teraform moon together with queen and than try to restore souls from Black Swan. |
